OK, now go back and watch it again. Notice that EVERY participant is putting everything they've got into this performance. Each one acts as if he/she is the star and the outcome rests on their shoulders. The enthusiasm of this group is contagious and the result of hours and hours of practice, lead by dedicated teachers/mentors who believe in them. They may not realize it today, but the effort they put into this production will impact the rest of their lives. Setting goals, team building, group effort, moral support, etc have all played a part in this and hopefully gave them something to draw from in the future. Well done !

I've watched this performance at least six times now, and it always cracks me up to see that expression on Simon's face when Nck begins the first few notes of piano playing---and then suddenly a third of the audience is a planned part of the man's act! (well, maybe one tenth of the audience...)
@TeamPaul17 Жыл бұрын
At some point, Simon had to be eyeballing EVERY part of the audience to catch who was next ("Are they ALL in on it? Is this a bit?"). And just when you thought the mob couldn't get bigger--a guitar solo!

Not much really....these pro musicians probably rehearsed it ONCE and then screwed their entrances, tempo, beat, and intonation. How could any of you guys think this was a "surprise" and the judges had no clue what was going to happen. This was obviously only rehearsed like once or twice. I love the show but to see people praise this is just crazy to me. IT was fun, and i love the song, but lets not pretend it was anything special at all.

It had to be an inside job. You can't smuggle French Horns into an auditorium without somebody noticing, much less get everyone seated in just the right places. So the staff had to be in on it. I like to think that they did not tell the judges.

As someone who played in an orchestra before it doesn't seem like it would take much extra to rehearse, at least compared to how long it would take to learn the actual song and play it. Timing is already a natural part of music so I think the majority of the effort would go into stage effects. Obviously it's a lot of work but all the musicians have to do is make sure they get to stage on time lol
