They’re variations of the basic open chords. They’re basically a type of suspended chord that allows to easily change chords without changing finger positions as much as normal... that’s a simplified explanation. There’s a bit more too it but that’s the gist of it.

Valentina Z. It's showing the chord he is currently playing at the time he changes them, they look funny most likely because there are multiple ways a chord can be played to give off a different sound. Remarkably similar but a small pitch differencd

the chords aren`t right tho, expect the G, the chords sound fine but the names are misleading. Changing the F# to an E on the "D" chord makes a "D sus2;" it should then not be written as D. either way nice production quality. its nice to have free resources.
