Hope this is gorgeous. Here's what I said on my FB share of it. "One of the songs most dear to my Mom, as it was my Grandma Bonnie's favorite. My Mom so many times throughout my life has recalled shared with us the lovely memories she has of her Mom singing and humming this song when my Mom was just a girl. Just to better explain the gravity of the significance, my Mom lost her Mom who battled cancer when my Mom was only 9 and her brothers were I think 3 and 5 years old? So the memories MY mom does have of her own mother are truly treasured by her, and that had been one. Anyways, really love your rendition 💕 Beautiful.

This is beautiful. I am going to make a risky statement but Harry Connick Jr. should have played it straight like this. He did a version everyone raved about but it was dreadful in truth. I think no one wanted to be honest and offend him, especially being the single from a religious album. However it is important to be honest in your reviews and thoughts so when artists do a great rendition compliments are genuine and based on truth. When I here this version by Hope it makes me realise just how beautiful this powerful yet tender song can be. Hope does it more than justice. She nails it. Amazing indeed.
