Nehemia you should do an episode on the shapira scroll. i recently read its contents and was moved by what i read. It screams authenticity. I noticed that the shema comes before the decalogue unlike our modern dueteronomy. That confirms it being the first and greatest commandment. It has very important differences that the world needs to know. Idan Dershowitz and Ross Nichols have done an excellent job on this. im so blessed to know of nehemiah, ross and all these sincere scholarly people who are not reading mystically out of the text.

*The Enuma Elish would later be the inspiration for the Hebrew scribes who created the text now known as the biblical Book of Genesis.* Prior to the 19th century CE, the Bible was considered the oldest book in the world and its narratives were thought to be completely original. In the mid-19th century CE, however, European museums, as well as academic and religious institutions, sponsored excavations in Mesopotamia to find physical evidence for historical corroboration of the stories in the Bible. ***These excavations found quite the opposite, however, in that, once cuneiform was translated, it was understood that a number of biblical narratives were Mesopotamian in origin.*** *Famous stories such as the Fall of Man and the Great Flood were originally conceived and written down in Sumer,* translated and modified later in Babylon, and reworked by the Assyrians ***before they were used by the Hebrew scribes for the versions which appear in the Bible.*** ***In revising the Mesopotamian creation story for their own ends, the Hebrew scribes tightened the narrative and the focus but retained the concept of the all-powerful deity who brings order from chaos.*** Marduk, in the Enuma Elish, establishes the recognizable order of the world - *just as God does in the Genesis tale* - and human beings are expected to recognize this great gift and honor the deity through service. From a Biblical scholar: "Many stories in the ancient world have their origins in other stories and were borrowed and modified from other or earlier peoples. *For instance, many of the stories now preserved in the Bible are* ***modified*** *versions of stories that existed in the cultures and traditions of Israel’s* ***older*** *contemporaries.* Stories about the creation of the universe, a cataclysmic universal flood, digging wells as land markers, the naming of important cultic sites, gods giving laws to their people, and even stories about gods decreeing the possession of land to their people were all part of the cultural and literary matrix of the ancient Near East. *Biblical scribes freely* ***adopted and modified*** *these stories as a means to express their own identity, origins, and customs."* *"Stories from the Bible"* by Dr Steven DiMattei, from his website *"Biblical Contradictions"* ------------------------------------------------------------------ In addition, look up the below articles. *"Biblical Contradiction #2: Did God create the heavens and earth from the formless deep OR did Yahweh create them from the slaying of the primaeval sea monster Leviathan /Rahab?"* - Dr Steven DiMattei *"Debunking the Devil - Michael A. "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us..." Am I wrong in thinking this is parallel with this pearl? We are to address sins our neighbor/fellow man might have *against us* before we can offer a sacrifice of repentance to our heavenly Father. Matthew 6:9-13. Verse 14 says, "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Verse 15: "But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." It's a joy to listen and learn from you gentlemen. I have a long way to go but you're both making it easier to understand! May you continually be blessed by our loving Father Yehovah 🙏

Shalom Nehemia, Keith thank u. I was a Methodist 30yrs+. Heavenly Father called me to leave, I left. One day I did ask Heavenly Father why HE teaches to keep HIS Commandments n the church teaches that Paul teaches not to keep the Commandments. HIS question was who are u following? I was of course following HIM. Years later Heavenly Father help me 'understand' that the church got Paul's teaching wrong. Paul was teaching about righteousness in Yeshua n Heavenly Father was teaching about obedience to HIM. Which was what Yeshua was teaching also. Yeshua taught He was Vine n we are the branches, if 'The Vine' kept Heavenly Father's Commandments n 'the branches' don't, they are strange branches....... In the Lord's prayer,....... forgive me my trespasses as I forgive others their trespasses against me....... Is clear. If we want Heavenly Father to forgive us, we first have to forgive others. That is Heavenly Father's righteous way. Baruch haba b'shem Yehovah!

In 1988 I had a vision of a rotten and Yeshuah himself was in the vision he was teaching us just like he taught when he was here, and we were going to jump up to the branch and hang on it, and Yeshauh forcefully commanded us, saying; don’t touch that branch it is rotten to the core and ready to fall, so I turn around and I like what! What re you talking about, so Yeshauh goes on to say that this rotten branch is like unto Judas Iscariot who hung himself upon. Yeshauh then goes on to interpret it allegorically and goes into a lengthily discourse on Judas and the rotten branch, which I don’t remember anything he interpreted to us, it was kept from my understanding. At the end of the discourse he said danger, danger, danger, three times and I began to convulse and shake so violently I woke up. Well to make a long story short a dream that the interpretation was kept from me, but would be walked out in what is now over 30 years since that dream, it was a warning to me first of all but it would always be a part of my walk good and bad and is a part of my testimony today, and it corresponds to what you wrote by abiding in him by doing what he did, and commanded. People criticize Nehemiah for not confessing to be Christian, or Messianic, but by definition, he is doing what Yeshauh taught. Ten years before I had the dream of the rotten branch, I had a vision of being in the presence of almighty God,I was litteraly allowed to experience his wonderful presence where the peace and joy contented my soul, if I had the choice to just keep that felling I would have taken it for all eternity, anyway I had a vision that before my eyes in 3d and in full color while being in his presence that manifested by the sounds of rolling thunder, a branch formed before nap my eyes, I believe that what Yeshauh taught about the branch abiding in him and he in us he would cause us to bear much fruit. What I’ve learned also recently is that we the body of Messiah have the spirituals that enable and authorizes us to fully keep the intended Torah perfectly just as Yeshauh did, there can be only one Body of the Messiah in the last days, that by the gifts that we have received are able to build up one another in love, offering up spiritual sacrifices. Nevertheless being grounded with what Yehovah will once again do when he rebuilds the Tabernacle of David, and the Ark of the covenant, which will hopefully be revealed soon

Peace to all. Nehemia Gordon I'm in awe with the knowledge you have, so I have to ask this fundamental question! In reference to Isaiah 43:10 and Acts 15:14 Are you one of Jehovah's His Witnesses? If no Why are you not? I uses your research to help people to understand Our God and Creator has a Personal Name and it's Jehovah. Haven't you found the missing vowel to clarified the English Name for Our God? Many English translation has misled the people as to the identity of the True God Jehovah. Most persons believe the Almighty God Name is God, Lord, Adonai, Yahweh and whatever name they want to call Him and yet His Personal Name is right there in some of their own copy of the Bible, especially the AKJV the majority of the people thinks Our God throw it down to the earth from Heaven for mankind. Nehemia Gordon another question I want to ask. Why is the Personal Name of Our God Jehovah has been partially or completely removed from most English translations? I asked because if a person is going to Our God in prayer, he has to know and be sure of the God he's directing his pray to and in who's name it is to be seal off by which is Jehovah's First Son Jesus. Col 1:15

In Job, Job made sacrifices to God IN CASE his children sinned unintentionally. So it’s a very old concept. Honestly, as a modern person I have a hard time appreciating how something that is unintentional could possibly be sinful. But then I grew up with normal mainstream Protestantism, which considers that Christians don’t have to follow legalism because we are under grace.

Christens bring spiritual sacrifices of praise . Hebrews 13:15-16 . . . Through him let us always offer to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips which make public declaration to his name. 16 Moreover, do not forget the doing of good and the sharing of things with others, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Comment: The description Nehemiah gives of "Christianity" comes from the early influences of Greek philosophy and especially the Gnostics who taught that the physical world is evil.

This episode implies a truth that makes many uncomfortable. GOD forgives you when you do him wrong...only if you offer Him your sincere apology and ask to be forgiven; He doesnt maye you pay for damages or be punished for the wrongs you committed; but you must confess and sincerely seek forgiveness from others before God will accept your apology.. This seems to challenge the commonly taught notion that Jesus expects us to forgive everyone even if they refuse to apologize or even acknowledge their wrong doings. I was taught this passage was about forgiving people that sinned against you with or without an apology The impression im now getting, that this episode seems to suggest, is that Jesus is saying if you are mistreating or have mistreated someone, you need to restore the losses to that person that your wrongful acts caused and apologize to be forgiven of our fellow man. OR the blood sacrifice is unacceptale...

Can we clarify that the issue with your brother would be some sin you are committing toward your brother. It is not an issue of your brother hating you for your faith or demanding you to live/act differently than God commands. IOW, accepting homosexuality would be an example of your brother demanding you accept his sin. In this case, your brother definitely has something against you but that is not what the verse is talking about. The verse is about YOUR sin against your brother that YOU need to reconcile/repent of doing.....regardless how your brother receives it. Don't forget, we are promised hatred from our brother and this subject might get confusing; that if our brother hates us, then we need to do something about it. That's not true. We need to do something about OUR sin.

i still don't agree that you both, who have not been charged by Yah when He imparts truth to you, think you need to leverage what He told you and charge others. Where is the integrity in that? Yes you have a ministry and books and travel expenses and research. But those things were true of Paul as well and he didn't charge people for truth. Two thousand years later, with social media income, book sales, donations, etc., why wouldn't you trust Yah as Paul did and GIVE freely what was freely given to you? Demanding people give you $$$ is never going to be as honorable or profitable as people offering you a donation as you pour out freely!

Yshuah certainly identified with the Pharisees and was very hard on their hypocracies, but it is clear that his system of beliefs were much different from the Pharisees, although Yeshuah taught many things that were not unique at the time he came, what was unique is the miracles he performed contradicted the rules and regulations that the Pharisees were teaching, so in that sense he could not be a Pharisee. However, the messianic belief sustem that he was forming did come out of the same soil as many types of Judaisms of the first century, we must clear out the erroneous teachings that have crept into the faith, because according to Yeshauh there will be one belief system that will have the adaptability to endure to the end
