I wish I were 40 years younger. I did try to learn Hebrew then but had no teacher. Now I have great teachers and my brain is tired.

Perk up your brain with a couple of tablespoons of sunflower lecithin power or granules each day. It is good in a hot drink where it quickly dissolves. Or put it in something cold, it will need time to dissolve.

Matthew Beck, I remember a really important race of long ago. A hare and a tortoise. The tortoise was determined and didn't rest. The hare kept resting. The tortoise won the 🏆.

Reggie White. What a heart for YeHoVaH this man had.❤️ I wonder how his wife n kids have made out. I remember watching an interview where his widow was at his grave site weeping over the loss Reggie left quite a legacy. Greetings to Michael Rood. Several years ago he dialed my number in response to a ✉️ I had written. ✍️. He wasn't bothered by the words i had respectfully expressed. I'm sure he doesnt remember this at all but it showed me, Michael cared about his supporters n didn't feel he was above taking the time to expound on his position. Michael has worked tirelessly m invested in the world to come! ❤️

50 years ago I set out to learn Hebrew and Greek. I bought a book called "teach yourself biblical Greek" or something like that. On the first page it said, "first thing you have to do is learn English grammar". of course, i did that at school, so it would be quick. The standard was so high i got lost, gave it up and bought a strong's concordance with dictionaries! I am going to try this...

Dr. Gordon after you have finished your current project, is there a possibility you can explore the vatican library, and the department of archaeology to see if there is any artifacts from the second temple period that Romans took away in 70 AD? I'm sure there might be some artifacts from that period.

Hey folks. About learning Biblical Hebrew, I too was very frustrated about the focus on grammar. I found that it hinders learning.

Hi guys, first of all I want to thank YAHOVAH for your teachings !! I would also like to give a few suggestions... Keith please stop going off subject to kill time, I know the less time we have on the subject the more we have to go to a website, which is where the money is. I get it y'all gotta make a living!! But honestly the system you guys have set up is a pain in the butt. My husband & I watch on the TV, not our phone or a laptop... do you understand the hassle of switching websites on a TV lol ?? I'm sure you do. So anyway my suggestion is to combine your websites to one & instead of asking for "donations" just have a set price. As long as you stay truthful & full of faith, you will be provided for !! Numbers 6:24-26 - The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Nehemia I pray that you continue to yeild your will to the will of God. You are very zealous for Yehovah Sabaoth! It is very apparent that Elijah visited you in your youth. Praise Yehovah because HE IS active in the affairs of man today! Psalm 77 :10-12 Then I thought, To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. I will remember the deeds of the Yehovah: yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”

Maybe this might be of use? Isaiah the Solitary: On Guarding the Intellect 5th century? Paragraph 3 Let us stand firm in the fear of God, rigorously practicing the virtues and not giving our conscience cause to stumble. In the fear of God let us keep our attention fixed within ourselves, until our conscience achieves its freedom. Then there will be a union between it and us, and thereafter it will be our guardian, showing us each thing that we must uproot. But if we do not obey our conscience, it will abandon us and we shall fall into the hands of our enemies, who will never let us go. This is what our Lord taught us when He said: 'Come to an agreement with your adversary quickly while you are with him in the road, lest he hand you over to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer and you are cast into prison (Matt. 5:25). The conscience is called an 'adversary' because it opposes us when we wish to carry out the desires of our flesh; and if we do not listen to our conscience, it delivers us into the hands of our enemies.

I don't understand. Please forgive me, this question may seem dumb, but don't scholars believe that the gospels were written in Greek not Hebrew. There are many reasons for this including that the first Century Judeans were mostly illiterate. The Earliest fragments of the Gospels are in Greek. The link between Judeans and the Empire were the Sadducees, or the Hellenized Jews who had taken control of the Temple. Their language of communication was not Hebrew, not Aramaic (language of the common Judean), but Greek. The scholars I have exposed to, say that the Gospels were written some 30-50 years after the Jesus event. Since you can point to inacuracie in the Gospels such as the location of commonly know landmarks, wouldn't the Language be Greek? I look forward to your comments or is this an old argument that you've heard before and it bores you. If so can you point me to your response? Other wise Be Well שלום לחם

19: 20 - . The context is, to me, plainly showing "he" to be the one who hates you. ~ He (who hates you) will be agreeable if you quickly appease him.

For Christians, shem tov should be used with great caution because the this text denies that Yeshua is the messiah. The canonical Hebrew gospels should be the guide. Shem tovs usefulness lies on its ability to uncover other passages in the Hebrew that is otherwise unclear in the Greek

*Deuteronomy 30* (this is what Paul is quoting) 11For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. HEAVEN----->12It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? SEA/DEEP------->13Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? INWARD PARTS------->14But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. 15See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; *ROMANS 10* 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. HEAVEN------->6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) SEA/DEEP------->7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) INWARD PARTS------->8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, *the word of faith, which we preach* ; Much *LOVE* , my friend.

Really ignorant stuff to say considering that the Book of Deutoronmy was the book from which Christ Yeshua most quoted... Also, Paul (Saul), and James (Jacov) and Peter (Simon).

different scripture......Rood theorized that John 6:4 was added trying to prove Eusibeius claim of a 3 1/2 yr Ministry....when it was really 490 days, an intermittent prophecy of Dan 9. Women being told to be quiet in Church, and if they had a question to be quiet until they got home. I Cor 14.

@@bridgerbergman I don't think it was a matter of scripture being added. I'm pretty sure it was the scribe screwing up and writing "Passover", when in actuality it was a later feast.

@@shoeshineboy5869 The context of John 6:4 argues against it being Passover [wrong time of year] ; even if it was ; the Scriptures would still come up one Passover short of the 4 needed for a 3 1/2 year ministry . to the best of my understanding 🤷‍♂
@brandonbackes930
@brandonbackes930 2 жыл бұрын
@@shoeshineboy5869 Quite possible. In some early texts it is written as a marginal note. The interesting thing is where those manuscripts come from. Eusebius suggests the 3 1/2 year hypothesis but has no texts to support it. Some time later we find a manuscript, with this marginal note, from apparently the same town Eusebius lived in or one nearby. Then we can trace copies of this manuscript found farther and farther from the first one. In some later texts the marginal note is misaligned creating ambiguity as to whether it is part of the text body or margin. Copies of these texts spread and eventually there are more copies where it is in the body of the text than where it is a marginal note. Now, it appears that, you have Eusebius supporting the the texts that read as Passover. It helps that many already agree with the 3 1/2 years hypothesis, so that textual tradition gets spread farther and passed on where the original gets lost or replaced.
