Minor correction note: KJV started with the Bishops Bible not Tyndale’s. The church burned Tyndale before he finished his work. Miles Coverdale finished it eventually leading to the Great Bible, then the Bishops from which came the KJV

Dear Nehemia, do you know what the connection is between "Brass", "Serpent", and "to Hiss/practice divination/whisper"? I am thinking about the three letters נחש which has been translated in various ways. What I have read so far is that some say the connection between brass and serpent is that both were apparently similar in color. The connection between a serpent and to hiss, is because that is what the serpent does. The connection between hissing and practice divination is because those who did it, used to cast spells by whispering things. But then, what does whispering and brass have in common? It is an argument that fails to complete the cycle. Tank you for your time.

In present day Spanish many words ending in "a" are female with some exceptions, many words ending in "o" are male with some exceptions. My "eye" the "eye" an "eye", mi "ojo" el "ojo" un "ojo" is male gender. Now my "hand" the "hand" a "hand", mi "mano" la "mano" una "mano" is female gender.

Things that 'receive' tend to be feminine and things that 'initiate' tend to be male. There are always exceptions but when you apply this, you see how much the language and nature ties together.

No. It's not telling me to pluck out my eye or cut off my hand because I could cut off all my members and still sin from lust. Why? Because the issue is not the eye or the hand or the foot. The issue is the heart. But I think it's also telling me that I need to be willing to do the difficult work of getting rid of the sin even if it's as embedded in who I am - in my personality or nationality - as my eye or my hand.

My thoughts on that is that when it comes to the "mark of the beast " some folks will (probably quickly) realize they shouldn't have gotten it. I don't know if it will be a chip or what, but I believe folks will literally be cutting off their right hands and removing their eyes to get it out. Thoset verses may be literal. It's from Numbers 15:29-31... Believers are considered to be part of the body of Yeshua, the Body of Messiah. The hand can't do what the eye can do, and a toe can't do what an ear can do. What if there is no incorrection here? This was intentionally said by Yeshua to drive forward the idea that those who are part of the Body must remain pure, and if they break Torah or lead the body astray they should be cut off and not allowed to partake anymore in the community, whether male or female.

Peter, being a small stone, I understand the Rock to be YAHUAH or His voice as stated by Yahushua in the preceeding verse. Second witness: Deuteronomy 32:3-4 "For I proclaim the name YAHUAH; Ascribe greatness to our Elohiym! [4] "The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; An Elohiym of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He. Romans 10:4 taken in a vacuum seems to support your misunderstanding but taken in context reveals Greek word "telos" can also mean goal or final result as seen in 1 Timmothy 1:5. Messiah is the goal, final result or final authority of law for righteousness. Meaning righteousness no longer comes by animal sacrifices for forgiveness of sin but by the blood shed once and for all by Yahushua for all who believe and repent. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to YAHUAH must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Hebrews 10:26-27 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, [27] but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES.
