Irrespective of ones religious beliefs or none, the Tabernacle choir is something to behold. It is made up of everyday men and women who are committed to its mission. My wife and I had an opportunity many years ago to hear it in person while in Salt Lake. I will never forget it.

Excellent comment, I am not religious & have issues with all organized religion. But; I appreciate beautiful music/hymns & respect the choral efforts, interestingly majority of the best choirs are Mormon. So despite issues, in that regard they must be doing something right.

Your Father never left you. He is right there in Spirit. We don't die we just raise like Jesus. If you feel a chill from head to toe as you sit warm and snug at home thinking of him, that chill is him. Hugging you, sitting with you. Always watching out for his fav little girl. The reason it's cold is because Spirit is not 98.6. Just remember that okay? I just recently lost my Dad and Mom in 2017 and 2018 and I'm right with you girl and I know they're still here with me. Your story touched my heart tonight! So I just want to say you never really lost him, he hears you speaking to him, hears you thinking of him. That was beautiful. I love to hear the bagpipes before the singers begin. When my father died in 2007 at the age of 94, I had a man playing Amazing Grace and he wore a kilt. The little town in which my parents had lived last had been settled by Scots and the college there was St. Andrew's and the music department taught how to play the pipes. In 2012, I had the opportunity to visit Scotland along with England and Wales. The people in Scotland were the friendliest by far. My heritage is Scots, Welsh, and English.
