I lived there for 8 years people and food were amazing, trips to the beach and swimming in the ocean is something I'll never forget, there was this stand equivalent to a hotdog stand but instead of hotdogs it was a pastry baked stuffed feta cheese in elementary during recess and lunch we get them I was addicted forgot the name of it though it was shaped like a Jamaican patty. Greek people and Greece have a special place in my heart, yes precisely lamb was more expensive hence why there was more pork souvlaki than lamb, the smell coming out the shops was hypnotizing. Also you can walk down the street almost any street and there would be diffrent fruit trees figs cherry etc. And if it was in someone's yard you can knock and ask if you can pick some and if it's your neighbors you can just go ahead and take handfuls.
