Yes this stall is nice.. but you can also try hock Lee fishball in Albert food centre too. Their handmade fishball is good too and the queue is always long.

I had this today after a disappointing plate of Char Kway tiao. Ordered the meatball soup, and it was excellent. The soup is sweet and the meatball has good ti poh flavor. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

The bottom line is, it's not in the "additional ingredients", if the noodle texture (bounciness) is not right, the chilli paste taste amount and noodle mix is not right, then adding abalone, scallop and all the other B.S. don't matter. Putting on more accessories on a bad suit, does not make the suit looks nice. In this case, the fish ball is main feature, so it has to be bouncy and smooth. It's wonderful to see that it comes down to clear tasty soup, al dente noodles and a good chilli paste. You can always go and get your own buckets of Prawns, Scallop and Abalone, but the noodle, chilli and soup is the "main thing." When you eat char kway teow, it's the noodle, egg, beansprout, sweet sauce and chilli, adding B.S. into it, does not make it taste better.

There was a fish ball noodle stall at a coffee shop 10+ over yrs ago at Serangoon may b 1 street away fm Mustafa Centre. 70+yo uncle made out-of-this-world fish balls, the juice that oozes out is full of fish flavour. Uncle too bz, u can only order by no., cannot choose mee, mee pok or kuay teow, u eat whatever he cooked. But to-date, never come across any fish ball that closes to his.

@@GregoryLeow : There's one authentic handmade fishballs noodles stall in Redhill Hawker's Centre that opens daily at 4 am! He makes his fishballs at location infront of his stall! That family runs the Coffee ☕ stall next door too & believe me, his fishballs dry mee pok with fishballs are only S$2 per bowl! You must try! TQ
