Wow got my tummy growling and my mouth watering! Especially the almost raw cockles which I have not seen for so long!

Discovered this gem of a channel! Top tier presentation and it REALLY goes deep into descriptive words and history of the hawker and ingredients. Just wish other foodie channels are like that instead of very generic content.

Like the new video format. Shows how the food was cooked up with the ingredients listed as hawkers adds it in. Can imagine the layers of flavours through the cooking process.

Yes indeed, this is one of the better char kway teow in Singapore. Personally, I prefer this than No. 18 Zion Road. Another char kway teow comparable to this will be Da Shi Jie located at Beo Crescent Market.

Exceedingly hungry @0.15 am watching this!! BTW not everyone who has not eaten cockles for long time can tolerate it, they get 'hives', itchy raised bumps on skin. TQ Greg very nice video. Your son is growing up fast!

I prefer this. I like individually fried plates of CKT. I think they can control the quality better. Outram is batch fried

Great channel on technicalities of hawker food. Great for finding good recommendations for foodies, but I don't find it it compelling enough to sub. The delivery just isn't great
@GregoryLeow2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. It’s a fair criticism. My delivery isn’t very good and its something I work on. The reason why I speak and vlog to the camera is to practise and improve. I have a bad stammer in real life 😞😌

If you study the life of cockles and check out where they come from, and how it has wiped out villages in malaysia, you would not put that "thing" in your mouth. Of course as I say this, you will fight back and say man has eaten this for ages... dirty eat, dirty strong... Come up with something new to say. Facts are just facts. Personal justification and personal anecdotal experience don't mean squat. Continue eating to support your hobby, the hospital is waiting for you. The truth is, without the cockles and pork lard, it still taste as good. It's a personal choice, it's your life. The hospital is waiting for you.
