I've seen this reacted to countless times but I really loved seeing the JOY on your face. Yes, underneath Ann's black jacket she has huge brass balls. Robert has said many times he dislikes covers of this song except for Heart so them doing the tribute was a perfect choice. You said you weren't sure how prestigious the Kennedy Center Honors are - well, it's our nation's highest award given to living person who has made a huge impact to our American culture. It's usually given to an individual but occasionally a group. As Britain's, they were even more honored to be given this award. Their influence on American musicians can't even be quantified. Well done, Heart!

It's such a pleasure to see someone who knows the original, knows LZ, knows Heart, know Jason Bonham watch this. It's f*n incredible and I always get emotional for some reason. But when I watch people who react to this who have no clue, it's hard for me. They can appreciate it for the great experience that it is, but there are so many layers that's missing that I want them to experience. But you can see it in the faces of the people who get it. Thanks for getting it! (Ann was 62 at the time)

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 This never gets old!! 😊 Ann was 62y in 12 when she belted that out. Whew!! I watched it when it aired that December specifically for this. ❤❤ Jason, on his dad's drums, had a fair amt of input and why Ann and Nancy performed. He toured with them and knows they incl a Zep tune or more in there line up. Has heard Ann's pipes and knows Nancy's skills on guitar. He also told Godfather Robert Plant, he wasn't able to attend when he asked. 🤫🤫🤫 Kept secret, hence the drum sticks pointed at Zep, as Robert stands and points back. What a night, if you get a chance, watch the entire tribute, beginning with Jack Black. 👍🏽

Ann Wilson has the perfect voice for this. Nancy Wilson is an amazing guitarist, equally up there with Jimmy Page. Bonzo certainly passed his talent on to his son. You could see Jimmy and John-Paul really enjoying it. Robert Plant looked close to tears on many occasions.

Heart has been doing Zeppelin covers forever. I heard Heart live in 1978 and they were doing 'Rock and Roll' as an encore to their set. Over the years, they've covered every single song off LZ's 4th album more or less routinely as part of their shows. This was spectacular because of all the extra stuff thrown in behind them as part of this tribute - including Shane Fontayn on the guitar solo and of course, Jason Bohnam on drums. If you want to catch Heart doing LZ as part of their regular sets, the Heart Live in Seattle videos from 2002 include Battle for Evermore as well as Black Dog.

Ann Wilson is the Floor Jansen of Classic Rock. The absolute best voice in the genre. No wonder Floor is a huge fan of Ann. (Check out her cover of 'Alone', it's on het own KZbin channel. As for Heart songs, check the obvious 'Barracuda', the classics 'Crazy on You', 'Straight on' and 'Magic Man'. Or from the 80's glamrock period 'Never', 'If Looks could Kill' and Nancy doing the lead vocals on 'These Dreams'. Also from more recent albums 'Black On Black' is amazing.

I have always loved Stairway to Heaven (which i got strange looks when i would dance to it in my teens), and Kashmir. Found this tribute a few years ago. I was amazed, and loved it. You were enjoying it, and i was thinking, just wait until the choirs kick in. Someone mentioned it was an abridged version, and yes, it did seem shorter than I remember. I have become captured by Nightwish and related music, but the classic quality rock from my youth is great to hear.
