dedicated to an impressive , I believe, young amateur gunsmith from Poland whose obscure channel and simple videos I have discovered by happenstance.
But I knew instantly I was in the presence of greatness and potential.
I want to share my excitement with you.

Yes Mark. It is my tribute to him. Somebody with a mechanical intuition and 3D THINKING. Not clear if he had a formal training/ education, but his CAD drawing of the later closed bolt SMG for homemade ammo is quite telling. THANK YOU.

The sad part of the history of this polish gunsmith is that someone reported him to the ABW (Internal Security Agency) which barged into his house and confiscated all of his homemade guns. He didn't go to jail only by some miracle but still had to pay a very high fine and also won't be able to have any gun or to become a gunsmith for a long time.

You don't need an extractor. Still enough energy to push the casing out. Same as feed ramps. Don't need if designed well, usualy helps tho.

@petercarlisle2927 I agree that need for ramp is questionable. My Gevarm and Voere have mags sitting so nigh that the bullet practically faces the chamber. Never misfeed. As for extractor, yes it might not be need to extract, but it also trips the cases against the ejector thus directing them uniformly and predictably in the same direction of a small ejection port.

I’m impressed with their dedication, I myself would be lazy and go for well known and simple designs, like typical Russian ones, but these guys kinda made their own, impressive.

@@STEINBVG I’ve only tinkered with some friends when it comes to personal work, and I unfortunately don’t have any pictures, though one I have some experience with is the typical Makarov design, as I said I like to keep it simple, and I wish to explore a Mosin Nagant and an AK platform when I get a hold of one, if I do I’ll be sure to send over some vids or pics for you.

It's not sloppy. It's just made of hardware store materials, with rudimentary tools. And it works.
