Just recently got turned on to The Persuaders, such a great show, you can really tell Moore and Curtis are having fun and hamming it up.

Nice collection, you'll like The Persuaders, I have the DVD collection, watched it last year and did a short review of it . Pre- Bond, Roger Moore, still the best Bond and he shows some of it in this series.

Very cool stuff Dave. I actually have an old region B set of the persuaders. I watched the first few episodes and I liked it. I might have to check out that Smoke box set. I never heard of them. Anyway, thanks Dave.

Thanks very much. Highly recommend the Smoke box set. Love those films. William Hurt is also very good in Smoke and the story is much more developed. According to the wikipedia entry, Blue in the Face was filmed over a five-day period as a follow-up to Wang's 1995 film Smoke. During production of Smoke, Keitel and the others ad-libbed scenes in-character between takes and a sequel was made using this improvised material.

An excellent collection of titles there Dave. I am sure you will like "The Persuaders". I have bought The UK VHS releases and subsequently The Network DVDs and Blu Rays. But I am very tempted to pick up the Imprint release for the new extras. Hope you enjoy and very happy viewing!

I didn’t know Imprint was releasing a Harvey Keitel set, that’s awesome! He’s so often over-looked in my opinion. Nice to see him getting the spotlight for once.

@@CinemaDaveMedia I love that movie. I remember Kate Winslet chose to make it right after Titanic. She wanted to make a small, independent film after the circus of Titanic’s release and promotional tour.

They look so awesome, I wish they were cheaper. I have been inspired by you to have my own filmmaker study . I have chosen director Sean Baker who I love listening to speak about movies I recently picked up the criterion of his film Takeout (amazing) and his soon to be released movie Anora won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Yes, I really love these sets and there are often discounts and sales. Cool that you picked Sean Baker for your filmmaker study. It's fun to study a director/actor/artist, I definitely learn quite a bit working through a director's filmography.
