Dave, you guys got a balcony or deck, damn wish, I did. I'd have a couple of comfortable chairs, a TV nice mornings, watch a couple of shows and after supper with the sun going down samething.

It's fun having a deck though we haven't used it in recent years in summer due to bees and other insects though might be a nice place to read in the fall. We usually keep it empty/clear now for the winter months.

@CinemaDaveMedia I agree the bugs are bad and find this year really bad. I just wish I had a deck or a balcony. I would like to sit out in the morning and watch a couple of old comedies and, at the end day chill out and watch a Star Trek or classic cop shows while the sun is going down.

I was just about to ask the same question. When I lived in an apartment 5 years ago I had a similar sized deck. Enjoyed it a lot.

I took out my fall and Christmas mugs over the weekend, ready to welcome in Autumn 🎉 I LOVE this time of year, especially when it starts to cool down a bit outside. We’ve had such a humid and damp summer, it’s time for some cool fresh air now. The Great Race was on TCM on Saturday - that film is so wild and whimsical. Jessie is so good at coloring - her pages always turn out looking incredible

Wow, sounds great! We love this time of year too. It was so cool and breezy today so we took a short drive. Will be nice to have the windows open for some cooler air in the coming days/weeks. Jessi has a great time coloring, it's a fun, quiet, cozy activity. We just got some new coloring books from Southern Lotus on Amazon (Spooky Shop, cute and easy coloring books).

Yesterday I found a vhs tape of Son of Pink Panther, which was great timing because I just finished watching all the others. Return of Pink Panther has the most nostalgia for me because I saw it in theater, but Shot in the Dark was really good, too. Life and Death of Peter Sellers was an interesting watch, especially when he was developing the Clouseau character, Casino Royale (1967?) was a hoot, and Being There is certainly strange, but worth sticking out until the end.

Oh wow, cool that you found a VHS of Son of Pink Panther. I just love these films and regularly return to them. I also have Life and Death of Peter Sellers. Being There is a favorite for me (Funny, it's Hal Ashby's birthday today too).

I really liked the Blake Edwards PBS doc. What are your thoughts on the movie The Party. I am by no means a “woke” person, but this film kind of rubbed me the wrong way when I first saw it. I kind of cringed at Sellers portrayal of an eastern Indian. I was surprised that they skipped over Blind Date. I think that film is well choreographed. The third act reminds me of the beginning of A Shot In The Dark. Thanks for the video.

@@andrewday3603 I agree with your thoughts regarding The Party. I do think that Blake Edwards is a genius when it comes to party scenes.

What is your TV screen size? Is that a 55 inch screen?
@CinemaDaveMedia2 ай бұрын
Yes, 55 inch screen. We have had good luck with these Roku 4K TVs for far.
