Another Great-sounding LEGO engine! This time a Diesel. As many have pointed out with previous engines, "Don't the parts break with all the friction and heat?" Yes. This time, I left the broken / dying engine in the video.

Is it the position of the piston that makes it sound like a diesel?? Like number 1 piston is at the top and number 2 is at bottom and repeats?

I guess the large base plate he uses is one factor, maybe also the pipe construction on the left... I'd wish I knew because I want to build one for my next tractor. :-( Edit: I found a similar comment which the creator answered: "On the left side you can see a spring-loaded blue 2x4 plate on the axle. In my Diesel v12 video it shows the difference with and without a plate on the axle."
