That oak is no joke! Nice pick. I'm sure it would look a little different in person, but from my screen I'm into that caribbean color. Keep it up!

They turned out absolutely beautiful. 😍 Caribbean Blue is probably my favourite but they're all gorgeous! 👌

Love these cutting boards. What kind of live edge wood did you use on these ?

These are made from white oak slabs.

If you cut on the epoxy won’t it chip and scratch?

No. Epoxy is SUPER strong I did a test I hit epoxy and wood with a hammer 🔨 and the wood splintered long before the epoxy cracked and chipped. But I would have thought the same till then.

Love these so good 😍 can I ask what material you used seal the epoxy when you pour, on the bottom and around the sides so stop it pouring out ?

I used clear silicone. It doesn't have to be clear though any silicone will work. Caulk works well also, but I like the silicone that comes in the small tubes so you don't have to open an entire tube of caulk for these small projects.

@@dagragg I'm being blond here as I'm not sure what you mean... It looks like tape and then like a white MDF type board underneath 🤔 😂☺️?

That is HDPE. It’s a high density plastic. Epoxy won’t stick to it. I highly recommend it.

That chapter anyone?

Love your work, but doesn't using the CA glue (aka..super glue) to fill the small pockets make it unsafe for food contact even if overcoating it with a food safe finish.

Won’t the epoxy chip and scratch if you cut on it?
