Amazing Loud ZF! - CAT C7 [Bustech "XDi] - Surfside Bus 472

Surfside 472 is seen on route 710 and is a CAT C7 with a VERY loud 6 speed ZF gearbox & Bustech XDi bodywork. This bus sounds great and the video doesn't really translate just how loud it is in the real world. I'm also quite surprised such a new bus has such a loud transmission, they're usually on the quieter side. I believe this one is fitted with the ZF 6HP504 but I could be wrong, it must be just about the loudest ZF 6 ever fitted to a bus though. Also thanks to my good friend TransitBris who was with me and has given permission for me to use his pic for this video! Regarding the distorted sounding 1st and 2nd gears, it isn't actually distorted, it's just that loud :P Enjoy!

The gearbox goes into a "false neutral" whilst in drive and the planetary gears are still spinning, but not transmitting drive.
