Amazing Modern Train Station in Liège, Belgium by Santiago Calatrava + Paris Gare du Nord

A visit to both historic and new, cutting edge railroad stations in three different countries during my journey between Paris, France and Maastricht, Netherlands. Starting out at the Gare du Nord, Europe's largest train station, I took a Thalys through Brussels to Liège, Belgium. The Gare de Liege-Guillemins is an incredible modern design by architect Sanitago Calatrava. After that, I took a regional train to Maastricht in the Netherlands, where we explore their historic train station and the Wyck neighborhood before the return journey to Paris.

Cool train station. I love Calatrava's architecture. His museum in Milwaukee Art Museum is a must as is the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia Spain when you get a chance to see those
