I personally think you would enjoy the film Poor Things. I recommend you check it out!

I’m not sure if these movies are on your radar, but if you liked Brief Encounter and stories of yearning, “Now, Voyager” is a great classic made in the same era; and “The Taste of Things” may be a very recent classic.

small nitpick- The VVItch takes place about 30 years before the Salem Witch Trials. I am so looking forward to Eggers' Nosferatu! I also didn't connect with All of Us Strangers. I kind of wasn't in the right mood to watch it, tho. There are a couple plot lines taken out of the book for the movie but I actually think that was a good decision! lol, I love when these wrap ups/recently watched videos include Cinebun Club movies and we can actually hear you talk about them :P :) you reminded me to continue working on my yearning list on Letterboxd. There are so many films I feel belong but I also feel like I need to rewatch them. I'll probably just put it on public soon-ish and then continue to add stuff as I (re)watch them. are you going to continue into Sofia Coppola's filmography? 🎞

I love the movie the Count of Monte Christo, but apparently those who read the book don't like it because it's very different and the ending is completely unlike the book.
