the thing i love about the hobby is that its a great idea for killing time with friends or just shooting something without hurting it badly, what i hate is that its so damn expensive to buy a good nerf gun and the darts arent cheap as well

Well, comparatively nerf is extraordinarily cheap. With the gate fee of paintball and similar hobbies comfortably over 300 dollars for the bare minimum.

These are $12.99 at the Ikea in Houston. Not sure if that's universal, but thanks for the heads-up! As a bonus, they are almost as tall and wide as an adult, and you can zip it up halfway to accurately represent the surface area of a torso, if you're testing center of mass accuracy. As for what I hate most about Nerf currently, it's the ammo. Darts in general are simply too fragile and inconsistent for reliable feeding and ballistics. We need a step forward in material tech that makes foam obsolete.

The thing I really hate most about the hobby is when there's that one guy, who shows up with extremely powerful, high ROF, and ridiculously long range blasters, and the war they showed up to has kids running around, and still decides to shoot them point black with a high power blaster

Hi, I made an indoor target booth out of mine. Set a TV tray inside with 3 weighted wine bottles with ping pong balls on top of each, foam targets, a couple funk pop figures, and 3 hanging Nerf ball (baseball size). Most Rival Ammo falls inside of booth. Works great! Thanks for your post!

I just wanted to say that if the option is not available and you cant buy the IKEA thing just scoot the handkerchief back a little and the ricochet is reduced but not eliminated I hope this helps anyone

Thanks. I got this wardrobe myself and added a curtain near the back. It helps making the opening a lot easier to see when I shoot into it. And it helps stop the rounds from hitting the back of the wardrobe. I noticed that if you shoot the wardrobe itself, it causes the material to stretch a bit. I thought that if you shoot it enough times, the material will stretch to where it starts to tear. That's why I added a curtain near the back of my Vuku wardrobe.

I think I like the actual blaster of the Retaliator slightly more than the Tristrike, but the Tristrike's attachments are way more fun. In general if I were to pick I would go for the Tristrike. :)

Thanks for getting back to me quite a bit sooner than expected! There's nothing on KZbin I appreciate more than punctual guys on it :) I passed up the Tristrike simply because of the steep £40 price tag and the fact I own the Original Elite, the XD & Sonic Ice variants of the Retaliator. At the moment a £16.99 Hammershot is a tempting option to duel wield with the other, you agree? :) P.S, I will wait for the Tristrike to either appear reasonably cheap 2nd hand on eBay or get it brand-new at Argos on Black Friday, when the price falls to only £15! :D
