Hi! I think the material and the shape is the game changer, especially for people with wrist issues. If you are pouncing up and down with foam daubers, they tend to leave very distinct circular shapes so I generally blend using foam daubers in a circular motion. The circular motion can result in wrist and hand fatigue similar to using brushes. The pouncers kind of fade out around the edge so it's fairly easy to blend colors into each other by pouncing. The pouncers also seem to provide more even coverage. For me, the biggest thing I was impressed by was how quickly and evenly they cover delicate die cuts. I generally avoid inking delicate die cuts because it takes forever with a dauber or brush and I often bend delicate pieces. I will probably do it a lot more often now. Thanks for watching! 🙂

If you use a circular motion, it would probably end up pulling the foam off the handle. With a stencil, the circular motion would probably result in the plastic of the stencil shredding bits of the foam off.

This is NOT a rainbow pack. Picket Fence did not introduce it as such. A real rainbow has 7 colors, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet and indigo. A REAL rainbow does not have pink, light green or light blue in it. Therefore, your statement is incorrect. These holders are simply indicating color families. The purpose being to make it easier for us to identify the pouncer we need to use. I do not appreciate a crafter using incorrect information in their videos. It shows a lack of knowledge.

That's what I was thinking. Packaging in the craft industry is crazy. I reuse some of it, but there's too much. However, for this it looks like if one breaks uou have to throw the whole thing out, rather than just the foam top. That's unfortunate. They are super cute, but I wouldn't buy them for this reason alone. Maybe they'll eventually make them with replaceable foam?

I believe the sponge goes all the way up into the handle so they couldn’t be replaced. I imagine these will last a long time. I might need to do an update video at some point. 🙂
