I gave these a try at my local scrapbook store and fell in love. Being that I have arthritis in the hands I found these to be very comfortable and don't mind the pouncing at all. Thank you, I can't wait to get my set, between these and the blending brushes I'll be able to get more out of my scrapbooking

I would have tried using an embossing pen instead of the pouncing brush. I sure love all these techniques.

Found your channel as a feed on the paper pouncers. Very interesting. I am now a new subscriber because of your calm introduction, explanations and presentation, but also in how you have responded to a somewhat negative comment - very classy and non-combative. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Greetings from Michigan! 😊

I love how pretty that blended those inks on the stamp. Such a pretty card result. Watching you do those feathers was fun, too. I think that is a good demonstration of why the pouncers work better than trying to use a brush on those delicate die cuts. Using the black Pouncer for embossing ink is a great idea. I love the soft result of the silver on the feathers. Good tip on how to mark the brushes to not get the oxide ones mixed up with the dye ink ones. Actually, you tucked in a lot of great tips throughout this video. Four beautiful cards Charlene. Tfs.🤗

These are makeup blender sponges that have a handle and are more than twice the price. Some makeup blenders have tapered tips for detailed work which these do not. Pretty sure PFS got their idea for this from the makeup industry just like their Life Changing Blender Brushes. The cap/cup is a nice addition to keep a used sponge from messing up your work area and storage space. The bright colors are fun and help color code the sponges. I tried a set of three and they work okay, but getting a large number of these units would use up more storage space than I have to spare. Thanks for sharing ideas that remind me of the exact same techniques stampers came up with about thirty years ago. Something old is new again.

Thanks for watching! 🙂 I agree, almost all card making techniques and tools are some variation on a technique or tool that has already been done. If not in the card making world, then in some other type of artistic craft. I do love when companies bring something to the card making world and tailor it to our needs. ❤️ And there is never enough space it seems! 😆

The pounders are foam I think, and will give you a different look from the brushes. These are more like a larger version of TH Dome Foam tops. TFS!

I’m very new to all of this and experiencing some sticker shock at how expensive it will be to collect everything I want. Does tapping off shorten the life of the ink pads significantly?
@DreamCraftCreate
@DreamCraftCreate Жыл бұрын
I can definitely understand! It’s hard when first starting out to decide what you need and what might be something to pass or hold off on. I have lots of things on my wish list and I probably have too much as it is! 😆 Have you watched my 15 basics video? It’s just my personal opinion on the basics, but it’s a good starting point. I would guess that tapping off slightly reduces the life of your ink pads. That said, I try to pick up most of the ink from my glass mat as I work. I don’t think I lose very much in the long run. While I love the new pouncers, if budget is a big consideration, I would suggest starting small. Maybe just a few different styles of ink tools to see what you like most. Hope that helps! 🙂

It’s my understanding this is a copy of a product from a Canadian company…..:-(. Also, as a retired PT, these handles are not very ergonomically friendly for arthritic hands. I for one can not pay this high price for a makeup sponge with a handle! 🧑🏼‍🎨

Hi Mari. Thanks for watching. Mostly I think the tool is helpful for people with wrist issues. I have carpal tunnel and the new tool is much easier on my wrist than my blending brushes. I'm not a doctor though -- just my subjective viewpoint. 🙂 There are a few people out there perpetuating a rumor that this product is a copy. I am not addressing most of those comments -- many of them are just downright rude or nasty. I block them as that's not the community I want to build on KZbin. Just so you know, it is not a copy. I appreciate you being a subscriber. Hope you are having a fantastic day! ❤️

@@DreamCraftCreate rude and nasty are not good qualities to be around for sure! I can definitely see how these brushes would be helpful with CTS issues as they would allow the wrist to stay in a neutral position. Whatever tools work to help us be creative and have enjoyment with our creating are good in my book, just not always in my budget!! Thanks for your thoughtful reply! 🧑🏼‍🎨😀
