I don't get what's impressive about it, honestly. Doesn't look any faster than the Resolve transcription, if anything it looks a bit slower. This has existed for years.

@@cancelcable7508 well its on an m1 mac mini. Not an M1Pro and not an M1 Max. I tried it on a timeline of 70minute movie with lots and lots of dialogue with an M1Max and it was extremely fast. On an M4 Max its probably almost instant.

When I upgraded, it converted my library and lost my generators. I spent several hours trying to fix it, but no go. Later, when I brought 11 back up, the generators were back. Scary!

Before 10.5, the updates were big: from 10.0 to 10.1, from 10.3 to 10.4, etc... The reason why it is version 11, is the same why MacOS now is version 14, 16, etc... Marketing. It has nothing to do how big the update is. That said, I hope we continue to see updates on a regular basis like with 10.7, 10.8 and now version 11.
