I think my two favorite products were the Rhino cart and that garden tool that was Greenwood being demonstrated by the lady while the guy talked about it it just had some interesting features and made it kind of modular for your handheld garden tools

manufacturers like dewalt should implement a system like the spider tool holster into their products including the bit holder. Would be such a great PRO tool imo

@@tonycstech Already doing it. They want too much for theirs. There is a design on Thingiverse already, but it isn't as good. I will post a better one at some point in the next few months.

I doubt this idea is knovel enough to get a utility patent, as it is just a design for a belt clip. So any manufacturer could just create their own design that does not violate the design patent they likely have. There are camera mounts that are nearly the same as well.

Add an inch is a cool one. Carpenter here so I’m partial to a tape measure tool. Definitely worth checking these videos out so please don’t stop making them, also giving little guys another platform for exposure!

Yeah I don't get that one. Most tapes tell you how long the body is so just butt the back of the tape measure against the wall and add the listed length.

It's amazing that some these products have so much R&D, have so much money invested and also ready for the market but they don't have something as simple as a website or place to buy yet..for example the pop-up landscape lights, what a well designed and ready to go product. It's only a few bucks to put together a basic website to get your name and product out there.

Most products you see here are made by contractors that work in said industry that figured out something that would help them out in their daily life and decided to try to sell it at these trade shows hoping a big company would come in and buy the rights to the product. Some of these guys think they will be able to start their own companies on these products alone but they don't have the resources or know how to go nationwide. Something as simple as having a free email address to make it easier to be contacted by prospective buyers is lost on them. They should have had at least a business card with a phone number, a business mailing address and an email address before even thinking about going to a trade show. Heck they should have paid a local company to build them a small server with a website for their product for under a thousand dollars if they were serious about not selling their products to bigger companies and starting their own business off the backs of these ideas. Anybody with any business (including small business, even landscaping) should have a dedicated computer around their office connected to the internet 24/7 used as a dedicated server with a web page that people can connect to to learn more about your business and set up appointments or place work orders. Like Stanley here, I am sure even he has a server with all his videos backed up on it and a central server all his computers, cell phones, etc can connect to at anytime and find old videos he has made in the past, or a database of all jobs he has done and copies of contracts that he has scanned and put into his computer for his own records in case he ever needs them in the future.

Just picked up a two-pack of those Spider Holster bit grippers, that's an *awesome* idea for up-a-ladder work when you're not sure what bit you're going to need to pull something apart. Those are going on all my cordless drills.

6:00 most good tape measures have a measurement on the bottom, or somewhere, so when your measuring like that, you butt the tape up against the wall, and add "that measurement" to what the tape reads....

the Panel hook is super useful for anyone moving plywood or sheetrock, safer less chance of back injury and the drill kaddy is super useful to, it beats having to carry an extra container of bits and fasteners to work site

The dyna drain needs a reed valve on the drill end as well as on the piston. That way it would push air down the drain in one direction. Just a thought.

The Moto fixery f a toilet plunger does not use air to do its job it uses water because it cant be compressed like air

I felt sorry for the Catapult Engineering guy with the waterproof retractable lights. All that work and zero marketing plans. Guy is a mechanical genius. Never thought about how he could actually sell the product.

That's the thing. Nobody has every answer to every problem. There are designers, manufacturing processers, marketeers, sale pros, and financial managers. Nobody has all of the skills needed to bring a product from napkin to success without the aid of others.

I want to see it in mud and sand like the real world. Moving parts like that tend to get jammed up. Sprinklers work like that but they have water that will purge any dirt. These don't.

Turns out a retractable garden hose reel was patented in 1987, US4813627A. The hose reel itself was invented in the 17th century but I couldn't find the first mechanical hose reel with certainty.

Justin Dayard those retracting hose reels have been around for 10 years i had one that held a 25ft hose it was green and even had a fold out carry handle. Its not a new invention it may be cheaper nowadays but it’s definitely not new

I like the videos of new tools. I was looking for some gators for weed eating that weren't hot to wear. The trim gators were very nice looking so I went and ordered a pair. I mow a lot of lawns in Texas where it is in the high 90s all summer, wearing jeans is not a good option. Those look perfect for what I need. Thanks for the video.
