Looks great! Next time try removing the vent and spray painting it, that way the dried paint won't block the air flow. You guys did an Awesome job on the wall👍🏽

Wall looks great! Like a high end hotel would have in it! I would get another sampler of paint, a lighter grey, and sponge over the vent to blend in with your tile!

I did one like that in my last house and I loved it!. On mine I put the tiles from sink up to the celling then put framed oval mirrors over the sinks that I found at Ross.. gives the room a major wow factor in person and if you have a high ceiling it really looks nice. great job keep it up.

Will it withstand heat from the stove if a wall is very close to the left side of stove.

@@joureny1154 We did this in our previous house, it works well but do not put it near the stove or anywhere with direct heat. I don’t remember if we used any additional adhesive like they did, but over times the tiles would become loose or fall off by the stove because of the heat. It was a potential fire hazard in just that spot. Otherwise it’s a great project and the newer times look so realistic!

I think that is the best thing to do. Apply an adhesive first to the area before sticking the vinyl tile. Otherwise, some vinyl will just fall off because its adhesive is not sticky or strong enough. Doing the same to our undercover kitchenette outside.

Frank, make sure you don't completely cover the surface with an adhesive. The tiles need to touch the surface so they will stay in place. Let us know how it turns out for you. -DIYPC 😃✨

I actually clean the kitchen laminated wall first before applying the glue nail with a caulking gun sticking it in a zigzag motion then spreading the glue evenly with a flat 7 inch plastic scraper making sure every surface is covered before positioning 1 vinyl tile at a time Man, the vinyl tiles really did stick very well. I inspected my work the following day & none of the 15 pcs of 30cm x 30cm fall off.

We are renovating most of our house, and we found a ceramic tile big (2’x4’) but that has that slate or concrete color and finish, we are planning on doing it on the floor and walls, but jeeze, maybe we should rethink, and save ourselves a lot of work and use the peel and stick. It also wont be as cold to touch. 👍🏼

Nice job looks very nice. We put up peel & stick tile in our shower. We did use glue too, that was last year some of the tiles started coming off so we had to take those off and replace but other wise still looks good.
