I looked it up for you on the company's website. Here's all it says about wall paper: What surfaces should I not install Smart Tiles on? Smart Tiles cannot adhere properly to certain rough or porous surfaces. Mine has been up for more than 2 years now and I haven't seen any effect yet from hot showers. Having said that, I don't think I would put it directly above a bathtub or shower or somewhere where it would take a ton of water directly.

thanks for the vid! I have to say I think corners would be much easier if you took a single tile, cut it in half, and butted the cut ends against each other in the corner. Less messing around and the tiles would be contiguous for a clean look.

If you would use blue tape on your countertop and possibly on your tiles and back mask both sides it would make your caulking so much faster and less clean up.

I'd like do a backsplash on the top of the shower (where the shower meets the paint). Will the moisture in the air get behind these and create a problem with the glue?

It's holding up really well, Brandon. No signs of peeling off at all yet. I take pretty hot showers so I've been wondering about the steam's effect on it. I was thinking about doing a video to show how it looks after 1 year. What do you think of that idea?

A poem I dedicate: "Real tiles are just as easy and most importantly they don't look cheesy!" I mean this in a nice way but install real tiles is REALLY easy. Every time you wash you hands your reminded you took a short cut. tiles $10 , tile glue $5, grout $5, tile scorer $5.. =$25 bucks.. pride in laying real tile ? Priceless. leave the stickers for kids and bumpers!
