FINALLY someone reacted to this performance!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!! This was recorded in my home-country, South Africa, at Ellis Park stadium in front of 62 000 people. In my opinion, Marie's voice was at its best during their Crash Boom Bang World Tour of 1994/95. This specific performance just make my knees weak. I love this performance a little more than the album version - it's a bit more emotional. And emotion and power is all what Marie's perfect voice was about!!! She was just more than phenomenal!!!

Exactly, I love this whole concert. Their concerts are all fantastic, but watching this one is so full on energy and a massive stage which she covered all evening. Their albums are great but their concerts are phenomenal 💖💖

I always said that Roxette were better live... They were "perfect pop" on the albums, but live even with the imperfections, they were pure rock, organic and made every musician shine... And Marie's voice live was absolutely amazing...

Love them either on their Albums or Live, but totally agree that Live they where terrific 💕 Guess on Albums they had to suit the record company and production value🙄 but Live they could suit themselves, them situation and show what can't be shown on Record 😊. Plus Marie was such phenomenal performer and that was released fully when playing Live 💕

Just re watched this whole concert on DVD 💕 I'd forgotten that they performed "Harley's & Indians" & then "Lies" without a pause between the two songs !!! The energy on that stage was... WOW🤯💖💖

As someone who saw Roxette live, i' d like to say that Marie's talent for improvisation is just phenomenal. She could sing the same song differently at every concert and every time it was just WOW❤❤❤❤

Roxette are my favourite band.... im from the uk and non of my friends know them... i literally have to say "pretty woman, it must have been love" then"oh yes i get you" ... Marie had an amazing voice, i saw Roxette in 2011.. i literally cried my eyes out! id waited from the 1980s......

Miss Effe (F) was always at her best live and especially with little or no instrument accompaniment. Which is why I always liked their acoustic intermission at halfway in CBB concert it was Listen to your Heart with just her & Per on an acoustic guitar. In Joyride it was "Things Will never be the Same" with just acoustic guitar playing which was totally different feel than on album so much so that I cant even compare to. But best acoustic concert on unplugged was still Roxette to my mind. They even played a couple of the covers for their influencers.

I love both versions of this song. The single/album version, due to production etc, allows the angry moments of separation to shine as required (i.e. when the drums/guitars crash in 3/4 of the way through), this live version displays the more sombre, reflective, heartbroken aspects throughout. This one also has such an incredible intimacy to it, which is no mean feat given the size of that crowd. She pulls you into the story of the song beautifully, and effortlessly, and you feel like she pouring her heart out to you, one on one (apart from when asking the audience to sing along lol). Pure class.

And there is a recording of MTV unplagged, where Weekend's Here Comes is wonderful!!! Someday you could dare to react to a song in Spanish!!! I would recommend the live song "arráncame" by Vanesa Martín and India Martinez!!! Thanks Anton

I used to sing this to myself because I had a toxic relationship with an ex-girlfriend and in a way, it helped. I find it hard to hear this song now but I always loved Roxette. RIP Marie. Thanks Anton.

Take a look at this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y33cYaWJoNWmo9k It's from 2011, after Marie recovered from cancer. The video is from the first concert in Buenos Aires (Argentina). People love Roxette here, and in that very special moment, it was all Marie and her audience. Don't forget that, at the time, she had has brain cancer (it can be noticed in her movements and in the fragility of her posture. Even so, her spirit never faltered.)

I have always said, same as Michael, this acoustic version is miles apart from the studio version, but to me this version from Johannesburg is the best, they have performed this song many times over the years but this Johannesburg version is the best

No, I don't think so. This was 1995, a year later she was pregnant again(waiting her second child). Sadly, her illness appeared in 2002...
