I've had this pre amp for 5 months now, had to get used to the tube-drive, it didn't sound particularly raw enough for me, but, fiddling the EQ, putting a light OD/boost in front of the pedal, and some mod/delay/reverb in the fx loop, this pedal turns into a tonal equivalent of a Swiss army knife.

it's more of an AC running in the background rather than the pedal, in my experience with the pedal there is no noticeable hiss (at least on my P Bass and P + Stingray pickup bass)

Ok...so...using this as a preamp, if I plug my 6 String SG into this, can it Iommi? (I do have a modded Rangemaster clone fwiw) I know this is a piece of bass gear, but I have to ask because no one is going to do a video of the Digbeth series with guitar

Hey. Can i use this in effects loop ? Or only in front of amp direct? I have 500 w fender rumble solid s. Amp. I want a great distortion pedal. But i want it in the effects loop.

@@stephensinilas8611 You can use it in FX loop of course, you can put any pedal there.. that being said, not every pedal should be put into FX loop

@@dominikkavur5373 yea using it as a preamp basically. (Metal context). Wawa. In front. And. In the fx loop. = Dirt then mod/delay after) in norm.
