I bought one of these, it's very quiet in operation & Laney have thought of most things...no cab sim, shame but not essential...effects loop included & i used it to gig with & it was pretty good...both channels are good, a really clean FET channel & a decent 'tube' driven tone channel...or mix them together...lots of options...660ohm XLR output,not bad, will drive XLR cables no problem being for bass...i use a Bonafide buffer after the Digbeth as a lower impedence (75ohm) easier to drive long DI cables...i like it, especially the 'tube' channel....& i like the tilt control, comes in handy when using...👍🎸

After all this time watching your channel this is the first time I remember you playing / reviewing a bass pedal. As a guitar player got to say really appreciated this review and great to see some bass on on the channel. Thanks guys

Had an early PJB preamp pedal and it was clean but the lack of character was disappointing. After I purchased this pedal, the Laney Digbeth, I just loved the sound and versatility of it. Great bang for the buck. Nathan East endorsed it too. For those that care about that sort of thing. I haven't seen anything in this price range that beats this pedal!

Seems lke you guys found an Ampeg tone at about 13mins - deep lows, little edge, clarity. great box and seems like the highs boosted and tilt down is different than simoly boosting lows and pulling highs down. If Tilt is an EQ, it has different curves - wonderfully so

Laney based in Stourbridge UK near Birmingham… Digbeth is a suburb near Birmingham City Centre… really thought you guys would attempt doing this video with a Birmingham accent🧐… great pedal by the way!👍🙂

Quad used to use a tilt control on their hi-fi pre-amps instead of the normal bass & treble shelving pots...it worked really well.....great UK made pre & power hi-fi amplifiers.. they were class A with valves...tubes to you Yanks.. a great pedal with a really clean & tight FET channel & a real great sounding Tube channel with a bit of subtle overdrive if needed...the DI works well when using live.. mines is very quiet in use..
