Somewhere on Earth - Belize: • Amazing Quest: Stories...
Somewhere on Earth is off to Brazil, where the spirit of adventure and mystery still lingers on.
Expedito and Raimondo are brothers. Their lives are inextricably linked to a legendary river: the Paraguaçu and their boat, a saveiro that looks like it's straight out of a swashbuckling adventure book.
The Lençois de Maranhenses is a bewitching sight. Only a few men live in this desert where time itself has evaporated. Joyoson is right at home in the Lençois.
Roy landed in Brazil about 30 years ago, in the Chapada Diamantina. He has become the ardent defender of a vast territory where he roams every day.

It’s pretty awesome we can always travel to wonderful places. Not that a documentary can replace the actual experience of seeing, touching, smelling, hearing other cultures and places - I see watching documentaries as preparation for when we do board that plane, train or ship. On with the show and have fun in Brazil 🇧🇷

So I stumbled onto this documentary, figured I would stay for maybe one part but it started great and just got better as it went along. As someone from the USA about Roy's age, I really envy the choice he made in his path of life. I'd love to see an update on his section-to see if he is still doing that physically active life since he would now be in his seventies.

No words are there to truly describe how amazingly stunning, very informative and beautiful this documentary was. Thank you F.D. Now most of today's teenagers, and maybe adults too wouldn't survive 2 days or even 1 day living in parts where there is no internet connection or T.V etc. It would drive them insane! But then again, perhaps they already are having to rely on their phones and social media 24/7. 😂

I called this as life, I love and envy their lives style. Free spirit in an open, free from hustle and bustle world! In cities where all the people are greedy for money! just alive to make money and never satisfied with what they have and exploit the poor, killing innocent people! No time for family and friends! All they think is work and money, how to accumulate more and more!! Sad, Sad humans! Hi, rich and greedy people, please keep out your hands from this places, not everything is your footstool! This places are not your vacation destination! Keep out! The government must by any means protect this people and it's land!
