Hi Robin. I have been using the 008 for six months and it’s a great bit if kit. Picture quality is excellent easily as good as the ATM. Straight forward to set up and use, holds zero as there are ‘no crosshairs ‘ as such. I have it on a BSA R10 fac .22 and the combination works great, rabbits out to 50 yards are no issue, can’t recommend enough. Thanks for the videos this year Robin all good stuff. 👍

Another great video Robin & nice to see you working with Garry too, love his channel too. 👍🏻 Now the question is will you leave the raw PARD footage as-is before editing, or pre-process it down slightly to 1,440 x 1,080 (4:3 = eyepiece ratio), so the reticle's not stretched and the rats don't look like they've been on the pies. 🤣 (the 007 has the same issue). I noticed that you put the unit straight on to the dovetail, did you find you had to drag the crosshairs way back over to get them on the middle of the screen, then find a big windage adjustment when you zoom in to x 13?

Wow your sale looked different than the usa sale. For example the orange seeker came with a tan i3t and the tan m2r pro bundled with a black 13t. I got the tan m2r mount and switch bundle. Just got it today

Robin Foxer. I have been watching and enjoying all your videos and I have a specific question about the indoor rat and pigeon shoots. You can clearly see the pellets hitting the ground rats and see the dirt behind spray behind the rat shot, but does the pellet pass through the pigeons and rats on rafters and then through the sheet metal walls or roofs and pass through and damage? Is this an issue with your permissions? Or do you patch up any pass through holes?

Yes they will pass through roof sheets etc. Have to be careful with pigeons but not so much with rats depending on background

Is it safe to shoot into a tractor tyre? The pellet could bounce off back to you or even go through the tyre. It made a big scratch and luckly came to the tyre at an angle at 10:30. Just asking

The Pard 007 I think it a better proposition for the bigger rifle yes. It’s limited magnification means it suits smaller calibers in my opinion. The fact you can add it any rifle is a huge plus. I’m only considering swapping it to use on my air rifle. The nitesite will be used for everything else.

It depends how many get shot and where they get shot. Inside or in animal pens they get collected up and burned. If it’s just a few outside they can be left for nature to take it’s course.

It’s horses for courses. I personally favor the .22, but alot of people favor the .177. The reason I personally choose the .22 is, I find it a little more forgiving when ratting and rabbiting. But mines also an FAC ratted rifle making the pellet travel faster and flatter. That’s the plus side to the .177.

Great shooting. Nobody wants these little guys to suffer and I notice that many of your shots render these guys immediately stone-dead with no kicking or tail-flailing; the brain must be completely destroyed allowing no residual electrical activity. Do you know whether this is the pellet design, the velocity or just very good accuracy? I don't shoot, myself, but am interested.

It’s designed to retain as much energy as possible when it enters the body. It happens to be very accurate out to a good 35 yards or more.

Thanks, really interested in getting one but I’ve just purchased an HW100 BPK and with it being so short I’d be worried my cheek would be off the back of the stock. That said the rail on Robin’s rifle looks short so probably no option using the supplied mounts.

Ian it's a very short eye relief scope, so your head won't be as far back as you think. I use PARDs on both my (short) bullpups and they're perfect. 👌🏻

All of the thousands of pounds worth of kit I use I’ve bought and paid for myself. If it works I believe in simply advocating it so that other don’t have to do what I’ve done and spend kit on money that is t up to the job only to have to buy it a second time. You should thank me. I’ve spent decades shooting and hours upon hours sharing my knowledge with self entitled pricks who think the world owes them and they should get everything for free because they think I do.
