In 2023 she played her first Piano recitals. The matinee (300 seats) sold out (but not quickly). The soirée was still not sold out with only a month left before the event, and this after the tickets were being on sale directly to LOVEBITES fans at “The Last Judgement” in Yokohama…. 300 seats remember. I was absolutely shocked and told a friend online “if I could afford to come back (I was in Yokohama) I would. I need the law of attraction to come into play. Literally as I typed that to him, my phone received a message. A friend had (after months) sold my electric pushbike. Within minutes I had a ticket and a flight. I loved the performance so much I booked the matinee and soirée last month and I can tell you that, if it’s possible, she is a better player than last year. I’ve met her to speak to about 10 times and by now she is very talkative and friendly. She hasn’t a scintilla of ego and is absolutely charming and gracious. Add those to the list of her incredible qualities. She’s remarkable.

I heard piano concerts so often in my decades-long life. But it wasn't until Miyako appeared on the scene, that I am _drawn_ to watch the artist play , and that I am moved to tears during the performance. I cannot explain it, I just enjoy it. Miyako's way of making music is one of the wonders of this world, to me.

Everything she does brings either chills or tears or both. Believe me I share your admiration wholeheartedly!!! The whole band is other worldly!!! Haven't been this impressed with anyone in a long, long time maybe ever!! They hit on all cylinders for me amazingly and then some!! Everything is perfect right down to or starting with their tone and overall sound. And they are NEW!!!!! Unbelievable!! Love everything they"ve done and everything the do!! So glad and lucky I found them. I'll be worshiping them till the end!! And thank you guys for your spot on reactions. Look forward to it every week! Rock on!!

I showed Miyako to my sister-in-law's sister, a piano and music theory teacher. She praised Miyako's hand and finger independence, the consistent height of her hands when she pulls away from the keys, how relaxed she is, etc.

She was actually teaching guitar online for a while, but I don't think she's doing it anymore. In one the videos on her channel, she said that she wants to make music her career for the rest of her life. She said that it could possibly be teaching, composing for other artists, and doing other projects. She said she would never do a solo metal album as long as she was associated with Lovebites. Personally. I would love to see a blues album from her. One of her top inspirations is the late Gary Moore, and you hear that in some of her solos. If she did a blues album in the style of Gary Moore, it would be killer. Take care!

Miyako is class with a capital C. While in Paris with Lovebites, apparently she walked into one of those night jazz bars with her guitar and ask the musicians if she could play along with them. Then on a free day she went to the Louvre, she lives and breathes the arts and has hunger for it all. ❤
@dregeye3 күн бұрын
I'm quite sure she did not have a guitar with her & played a Les Paul offered by the musicians there. A guitar that is by no means an easy guitar to play, imo.
@PaleHorseShabuShabu3 күн бұрын
@@dregeye Eh, she has experience with Les Pauls. While those for sure aren't the easiest to play, it's not a huge deal to randomly pick up and start playing one. I do it nearly every time I walk into a guitar shop.
@dregeye3 күн бұрын
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu I do think it added to the impression she made on those 'jamming' musicians. I find Les Pauls to be quite uncomfortable compared to 'strat style'. I even have an Epiphone Les Paul Jr. that I am still not comfortable with, unlike a Strat, Yamaha or ESP. Totally different 'feel' for me. If there had been a piano there she may have really blown-their-minds, eh?

A beautiful showcasing of Miyako's less featured talent. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised no matter what other talent she brought out. Oh? She can juggle flaming swords? Not shocking. Yodels? Weird flex, but OK. And I know it's the wrong day for it, but it came out yesterday, so not my fault. Kanami got her signature PRS guitar. And they featured a promotional video for it on their official channel. She is a humble genius, and it was so wonderful hearing her talk about it. The guitar is a beauty. 200 lucky people are gonna be very happy with that thing.

Another great reaction guys. TJ: Yes, Miyako plays drums, and also bass (slaps too), electric (6, 7, & 8string) and acoustic guitar, piano, synth, keytar, trombone, and violin. She has a degree in Music Education and Composition. She writes music for the Japanese Death Metal band *_Crystal Lake_* (great band - worth a Reaction) and probably some others. There is also a video where she took a walk when they played in Spain this year, and heard music and went in to check out the band. But it was just a jam session. They invited her to stay and asked her if she played. Answer: _"I play a little guitar'_ . There is a clip of her jamming with them, but not showing off her talent . . she is a beautiful person.

Guys, if you go back a few weeks to your reaction to Stand and Deliver (the music video), you've actually seen Miyako playing drums, in her white beanie! Go to about 6'30", where they swap instruments. As you would expect of a musical savant, Miyako appears quite at home behind the kit. Shamelessly stealing someone else's comment, (because it was brilliant) she could probably play an entire symphony on a cowbell! 😅

@@TJandTheGringa Hi! I would bet it was accurate and precise 😄 In "The Book of Lovebites" there are 4 (photo) pages for each member for what they do on days off. There you go: day off = more work 😯 For Midori, of course, it's fitness, fitness, fitness (and some reading, and, lo and behold, playing guitar)...

This 6 metal song LP done as classical piano pieces is an epic masterpiece!!! I still maintain she is better on piano than guitar but you know what, it is moot, she is exceptional PERIOD.She knows music theory, construction, arrangement and composition and how to blend all the group's influences into their songs (often several influences are within the same piece she has written). The woman is a musical Savant yet for all that genius she needs her bandmates insane talents to bring them to life LIVE, but here it is all HER and that emotional flow of music (Ice Queen my a$$, she plays with more emotion than all those jumping and running musicians). That brain sees Classical and Metal as related cousins that make magic together and you know what she is RIGHT!!!!
