Such a beautiful performance! One of their best for sure. Asami doing ballet, with the snow falling, Miyako on piano and Midori on acoustic is one of the most amazing things I have seen. Hope to see this one live someday.

You are by far my favorite LOVEBITES reactor. This is my favorite power ballad it shows the other absolute genius in all of them. I'm thinking wait till the acoustic guitar. Then in the shadow you stop the video I said "what's that doing there" This was the first time I saw ASAMI glide down the steps like an ANGEL.❤ I swear her feet wasn't touching the steps. Yep I made up my mind you are in no way ready to hear "BURDEN OF TIME" MIYAKO play the KEYS with right hand WHILE TAPPING FRETS WITH LEFT HAND. I'm not ready to see just your shoulders without a head just a pair of smoldering earphones. Yep not ready yet. You are member of the 🐺WOLFPACK 🐺 with an old soul. I was an 8th grader in 1979. It wasn't just a big 4, but all of them; watching the up-and-comers at there beginning. The first reactor to SAXON I saw was old and gray. LOL back in the day; IF, and that's a big IF you were legit, METAlL, you would not leave the USA without playing one of the very few of destinations ., a gem , ney ... Palace if you will; the forever remember CAP CENTER.. let's take a ; a moment of silence.... 😓🤘RIP. there are quite a few that call for only the "live" version of 'scream for me' from the daughters of the dawn concert. i happen to love both versions - and remember - the studio version is also live. i actually like that one a bit better just because of the informal setting and you really get to see closely each member's individual skills up close. and also the sound quality is better. it's one of THE best songs ever recorded

This song is incredible, a masterpiece of music. And Asami looks a lot like Elsa from Frozen and the song is called Frozen serenade, it's too cool.

The word 'unique' is often overused, but on rare occasions it is justified, and this particular performance, especially when you think of the genre they play, is one of those 💯 unique performances, a genuine masterpiece which could only be done by these ladies. Pure and simple genius.🤘🎤🎹🥁🎸🐺

You watch this and even objectively you have to wonder what's wrong with record / management companies that these ladies are not in the top 3 of world bands . There are very few bands that can do some of the things they can do - and I struggle to think of one that can do ALL the things Lovebites are capable of . It's a constant source of frustration and disappointment that Japan currently has some of the most outrageously talented musicians in the world who are being held back by some of the worst record / management companies in the world - they ALL deserve so much better ! 🥲

That's true, of course, but we listeners are also largely to blame because we as music listeners come along with a hell of a lot of prejudices and ignorance. Many simply don't give these bands a chance because they are all-female bands, because in many cases they don't sing in English and they don't visually fit the images in our heads. People have always been pretty stupid about that, and that goes for the management as well as us listeners.

The language part I think is minimal compared to they are all female group. Because there have been many non english speaking bands that have been very successful in the US. Like Behemoth and rammstein to name a couple.

@@Ravage-Mike-Reacts I think it's a complex situation with many facets - Japanese management etc ( in general ) being VERY risk averse . Sometimes the bands themselves not being keen on longish tours , usually for personal reasons I suspect . A lack of exposure ( especially in the US ) of audiences to anything different - for example they don't really get Symphonic metal - this I know is a fairly sweeping generalisation but I always get the impression that there are more US fans who would rather be content watching Motley Crue limp on stage with their zimmers and mime their playing while lip syncing than experience something that is 1) New 2) Foreign 3) Female & 4) Musically brilliant . OK - sorry rant over ! BTW - the only management in Japan who have really got things right in a major way IMHO are Babymetal's - who are a worldwide success story 🤷‍♂

For me the bar to be considered a masterpiece is pretty high. I think there may be some 20 masterpieces in rock history. Lovebites have given us at least four, and I think this performance tops them all.

From the album Electric Pentagram Asami wanted a sad winter ballad, because the album came out in winter, she wanted acoustic guitar on this song, so Miyako composed and played the acoustic guitar on the studio track, but Live, Midori has to play it, because Miyako is busy on the piano! 🔥🤘

This song is the epitome of the rhythm section - bass and drums. Epic Miho and epic Haruna, owned the song - up, down, left, and right - this is a masterpiece, a much better song than the Swan Song or any other epic song of theirs...! Hear it out again and listen to Miho and the way she interacts with Haruna. Midori and Miyako - we just don't need to even look at them, they don't belong to this world. I feel at some point Midori was done with Asami and her ballad and got unleashed))) there it goes your ballad - enough is enough, let's burn this shit down, and as usual Miyako started the hot potato back and forth)))

There are very few people in the music world who think so far outside the box and have the talent to realize their ideas. And the fact that you have 5 of this kind together in one band is actually impossible and unfair on multiple levels. 🤭 The only active ones I can think of that you could roughly compare them to are Nightwish. I've been wondering for quite some time what the ladies of LB would do with the resources Tuomas and his band have at their disposal. 🤔🤯 _____________________ _"America invented rock. England improved it. And now, Japan has perfected it."_ Band-Maid | Gacharic Spin | Lovebites | Nemophila | East of Eden | Hanabie | Asterism | Trident | NEK! | Hades | etc.

Tuomas is also such a musical genius and with Floor he has found the voice to realize his ideas, but in Nightwish Tuomas is the one who composes and writes the lyrics, in Lovebites it is Miyako, mostly Asami who writes the lyrics and Mao as the second composer, but what really connects Nightwish and Lovebites are the Finnvox Studios where both bands have their music mixed.
