It's great to see these old cars preserved in stock condition. Too many, especially Fords and Chevys continue to be butchered up into street rods. The pre-war Pontiacs, especially the 1933-'39 models, are very attractive and well-detailed cars.

The buyer got an awesome deal! $19K for that car? Are you serious? That 'ol '36 is nice enough it could have easily been sold through one of the big classic car auction sites. I'm guessing it would have brought twice as much money that way. I'm glad the owners sold it locally. They must have known exactly what they were sacrificing when they chose to do so. Good people, in my book. Thanks, Mr. Badsocket! Another great video!

Beautiful Car. - I still possess The Pontiac '6seater' that my Grand-father bought new in 1939, - it has a 'genuine' 73,000 miles on the clock. We use it fairly often, - unfortunately with the price of Petrol (Gas) in our Country (UK), - over (£6.00) per Gallon it is getting used a little less now. Fortunately my Grand-father had a 'pair' of bench seat covers made for it when it was new so the upholstery underneath them is as good as new. It was purchased from "Pontiac Concessionaires" in Chelsea , London, and is a Genuine Right Drive Model. - From what I understand it is virtually 100% original, apart from a set of tyres (Only Recently Fitted), and my Uncle put a Zenith Carb on it, - (a few more m.p.g.), although we still have the original Carter Carb, - it hasn't even been repainted from i'ts original 'factory blue'. It carries the 'flat-head 6 cyl engine, and the body is by the "Fisher Body Corp".

My Family had a similar story, My Dad bought a 1932 Chev coupe for my mother ,which when he mistakenly sold it to a dealer in 1974,Still olny had 14,000 miles on it.And today it's mileage is not much more .I know the present owner who has kept it preserved.
