I got rechargeable small magnetic motion lights (no remote) and set them along the floor to my bathroom .. so I dont have to turn lights on at night. These also help when i come through the hallway after being in the sun so I see my little dog and dont step on her if shes laying in the floor.

There were some questions raised about the functioning of the Berkeys.. It was something to do with loss of function as the filter is coming towards the end of it’s recommended lifespan. It was tested by a guy who devotes all his videos to reviewing water filters. It’s possible that he’s working as a salesperson for another brand, but he said he had no skin in the game, so I don’t know. Great to be able to test at least some of what’s in the filtered water - great tip x

I have a Jackery power station. Even though I live alone in an apartment it helps me feel safe. It stays plugged in under a chair. It has come in so helpful three times this summer already when we have had power outages.

Cat litter. I use mulch. I am a longhaul trucker. My dog cat and I live in the truck together. I keep Vincent's cat box on the passenger side floor. And like I said, I use mulch. It's free everywhere. I just find the spot where I see mulch and I clean out the box and refill it. My company is out of Austin, Minnesota. They actually have a pile of mulch at the city park for locals to use and I always swing by there, grab a little to last me for a few days when I am there.

Thank you for putting this all together. Have a question about your glasses, are they readers? Or prescription? I notice you were constantly pushing them up, but when they are up they are not exactly fitted correctly, your eyes should be in the middle of the glass lens,, I only see it at the top of the glass lens. My prescription glasses slide down my nose too because they are too heavy but slightly loose as well, it needs to be adjusted, the ear piece that goes around the ear needs to be tighter...

Oh yes, buying things then finding them on sale later. I'm quite familiar with! I did buy the wall hook things so I could support a power strip for van camping. I also bought a usb blender....then my Mom gave me her magic bullet today. 😅 of course, it's not usb, but still will be handy in the motorhome. Thx for your list. 👍

Wood pellets( pine)..best damn cat litter...plus they prefer it....but dont use any treated kind that you only burn...2 different kinds

I hate that porta-potty stinking cat litter. Just a little longer and it will be gone and I'm giving my cat sawdust. Fresh from the pine trees! She'd better use it! She doesn't even cover her poop! She scratches before then walks away after without covering it. I've had her a little over a month. She was raised in an apartment and I'm transistioning her to the outdoors, which she really prefers. She just has to come back to have me pet her.

I’ve been using the wood pellets for cat litter for about 5 years. So much cheaper and biodegradable. I live near the woods so I can dump it in my compost (not for gardening)
