I wish they would refrain from using the word “monsters” in reference to whale sharks, whales, manta rays. There are many other words to convey “large size” which do not have the negative connotations of “monster”. The aforementioned sea creatures are neutral or even benevolent/friendly/altruistic/gentle towards humans. Humans are the threat to them.
