I’m only 19, I first saw Star Wars when I was 10 so it has not been in my life very long and yet this video reminds me of simpler times. A time where films were made with the goal of making something special and unique. To show us things we’d never seen before and transport us away to worlds much like our own in many ways but also quite different. This video has nothing but one music track over silent video and yet it makes me emotional in ways I can’t describe. At one time in history Star Wars was truly special, and despite the efforts of those in charge now these three cinematic masterpieces will always be there for us to go back to and remind us of being a kid again. Remind us of when our imagination ran wild and how we were so much more optimistic in our world view. Star Wars is not a franchise or a brand, it’s a set of three movies that defined and generation and so many generations after that. It sparked imaginations and inspired creativity. It gave us unforgettable moments that are now ingrained in our collective subconscious. No Star Wars is not a brand, it was an idea. A darn good one at that. An idea so powerful the largest media conglomerate on the world had to buy it before anyone else would. For all the garbage I throw at this franchise for being far past it’s expiration date these three incredible movies still exist and will for all of eternity.

I think this may be an unpopular opinion but without the special edition the OT looks better then the PT maybe cause I just prefer practical effects and the OT has a lot of them

I like sets and models. For effects like explosions or lightsabers etc I prefer modern CGI. Rogue One looked spectacular.

Disney messed up by not sticking to the simple camera work of the OT and prequels. It was meant to be presented like these events were real, and there was just a camera following the characters and events around, documenting it all. Hence "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away". Instead, Disney uses the same wild camera work they use for all of their corny movies, which takes me right out of the whole vibe of Star Wars. It doesnt feel like a true story from long, long ago, it feels like a pre-packaged Hollywood production meant to woo us with spectacle. Only giving us the side dishes, no meat and potatoes. Look at all these cool shots and cgi creations! Forget the story, look at how much money we have

Now i realize where are Ezra Bridger, Ahsoka Tano and Clone Force 99 during the original Trilogy of star wars. They were hidden on Naboo and they were waiting that Anakin kills Palpatine for Four years if the Prophecy said Truth. I Hope that they Will made return star wars Rebels with season five set during the original Trilogy of star wars on Disney Plus because Darth Vader Is Always popular and the original Trilogy Is important especially empire strikes back
