why? .... the comic book came out in 1986 ..... where this movie came out in 2009 if anything It came out too late but at the right time

i liked the visuals of this movie, but besides that, all the people calling the film anywhere from good to ‘a masterpiece’ are people who have never read the real thing. as a person who has, literally on the same day, I can say that this movie is nothing in comparison; nothing this movie does is better than jt was done in the comic book, in fact everything, from the plot, to the characters, to the innovative storytelling is far inferior. needless to say, snyder clearly missed quite a few nails, completely ruining things like: the character of Doctor Malcolm, the use of blood and bleeding, the final plot twist (and thus, the story building up to it, or rather the mere attempt of a build up that we got), etc. the graphic novels is one of the greatest achievements in literature and truly a Comic Book Bible; the movie is nothing short of mediocre and lazy. As Alan Moore himself said, nothing came close to truly ever adapting his work.

Good points but it doesn't mean its not good like thor 3 didnt feel like thor and the joker movie is inaccurate but yet their praised and are considered great.
