I swear, African trackers are worth their weight in gold! Outstanding tracking to find that young female leopard. Amazing sightings of lions, bee eaters, leopards, elephants and other wonderful species of the African bushveld. Your still photos are lovely. I would love to visit your beautiful country! 🤗

Ahh Tented Camp, our home from home. Magical Mashatu never ever disappoints. The staff at tented camp are amazing and after staying there numerous times we feel like part of the family. The guides and trackers are second to none, brilliant at what they do and just so generous with their knowledge and time.

How does one get to Tented Camp Mashatu? Can we contact the camp? I guess you could stay there and they would do safari drives? Or did you join a group or photo group? Thank you from Ray

@@raylander6329 I would visit the Mashatu website for all the information you could need. We always book direct with Mashatu, never any issues and so helpful and friendly. There is no self driving on Mashatu. The cost of your stay includes 2 game drives per day, early morning and late afternoon. All food, which is delicious is also included, you have to pay for drinks from the bar. You are collected from either Pont Drift border post or Limpopo valley airfield. I believe that Pont Drift is closed just now though due to covid. It depends from where you are coming to Mashatu, we usually come from within Botswana so are collected from the airfield but once came via RSA and came across the Limpopo river in the cable car ( great fun). The photographic hide is an extra cost but so worth it. There is a professional photographer/guide with you, they are so helpful. There is also a photographic vehicle which has various bits of kit added, also with a photographer/guide, also costs extra. Tented camp is very relaxed and friendly, no children under 12 permitted. We are counting down the weeks until we return in June for our 5th visit.

@@raylander6329 I forgot to say that we travel on our own, we book independently too. If you have time to spare then if you go to my profile you should be able to see a few videos from Mashatu. I'm not the best at filming as I'm just a beginner, but it should give you an idea of what you might see. I hope you do go and have a wonderful time, it really is a magical place.

Amazing video!!! So fun to watch! Our group of eight was staying at Mashatu Lodge while you were there on the trip where you took all of this footage. We completely agree with you about Mashatu as a great safari and photographic destination. We were at several of the sightings you captured in this video, and we can attest to the excitement and beauty of the area and animals as well as the knowledge of the guides. Thank you for putting the video series together. We have enjoyed it all!

Another enthralling instalment from our amiable presenter! Furthermore I have gained a much clearer picture of what’s on offer in the tuli game reserve Does the management at Mala Mala also own Mashatu. I have been to Mala and would love to combine the two

Good advertising video ... beautiful images ..good info . Unfortunately for me and for 99.9 % of the S.A population the budget for staying at Mashatu is far out of range !

That cheetah for me looked heavily pregnant, making hunting very difficult.
