This is beautiful and your illustrations are fab! I wonder if you would ever do a little video on your illustrations? Tips and tricks, or just the basics? I'd say I'm a intermediate drawer but do tend to stick to the basics, especially on clay! x

Oh sorry, I wasn’t very clear. I’ve sanded polymer clay objects after baking them many times, usually to create a super smooth finish. It creates a fine dust that could be mixed with glue or sprinkled on like you are doing with air dry clay dust. Although on the whole, the air dry clay dust is probably less toxic, and would have a more chalky consistency that would be ideal for snow. I really enjoy your channel!

Great video as usual! If you are looking for new products to test out 🙃...I have recently discovered an Ukrainian brand ( Fabrika Decoru) with sells very interesting stuff. They have got all sorts of paints but 2 of them may be great for clay: Rustic paint (acrylic with a lot of texture! waterproof and for both interior and outdoor projects! doesn't need sealing!!and has a bit of sheen..there is concrete colour too!...the other one is Shabby Velour paint, also textured but less than rustic and matte!, it doesn't need primer and sticks to plastic and everything etc. Both have gorgeous colours, and would work great on vases, trinkets, sculptures. I have managed to find them in the UK, Hobbilicious which is a trusted craft shop, have them in stock. I absolutely hate varnishing so this is so exciting😂 Happy holidays btw🎉

Question: I have a new pack of clay that has been in storage for 1 1/2 yrs. When I press it, though firm it still gives and I feel that I'll be able to work with it. Sometimes, I'm concerned that when I buy a pack of clay, either in store or online, that it will be too old and too hard (expired?) for me to use. Are my concerns unfounded and how long does a new pack last unopened? You are the only air dry clay artist that I follow. You are so thorough that I don't even have a desire to seek out any others.💛

Hi, I found a few packs of DAS air dry clay in my Dads garage a couple of years ago and they must have been there for years, more than 5, and they were still perfectly sealed and when I opened them they were exactly as they would have been if I’d just bought them, so hopefully yours are the same. If not as soft as you would like, out the opened block in another sealed bag with a couple of teaspoons of water and leave to soak in for a few days, but hopefully you won’t have to.
