HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

That Zambai is also popular food in my country. Zambai is not chinese name. But Tibetan word. Every mongol children grew up eating that one though this newer generation nowadays tend to like western foods a lot. Tibetans add Zamba to that Yak butter tea. But we Mongols add it to our Milk tea and eat it. In fact I ate it this yesterday. Can't say where it first originated from. I would say it is tibetan dish originally though since ancient times in western Mongolia, nomads been growing barley and made Zambai.

Actually the proper Tibetan pronunciation is "Tsampa" not "Zanba!" Zanba sounds like Chinese. My late grand mother used to feed us "Tsampa dough" made just the way that pala (father) did in the video and she always told me n my siblings stories about her life in Tibet n how happy they were with yaks, horses and sheeps but with little or no money. I wish I can go back to Tibet some day.

I've been to 2 Tibetan New Year's Eve parties. one when I was 12 and one when I was 14. I'm 15 now. I didn't go this year but the rest of my family did. My step dad has a Tibetan co worker that is are friend and he and he's family invite us over every year for the past 4 years to the New Years party in February. First time I went I was nervous cuz I didn't know anything about Tibetan culture but they're family are the absolute most nice welcome ing people I know on this earth. I totally feel like I'm literally apart of the family when I go there. and they have pretty big family all age groups. My favorite Tibetan foods they served are #1 mo-mo. And there cow toung. The salsa was pretty good to. When you first a rive (after being greeted by everyone) you go up to this uh ritual like thing and put your finger in this weird stuff I can't remember what it looked like or the texture of it but I think either doughy like or powdery. And I think you put it on your toung or forehead
@terrencefernandez36818 жыл бұрын
I honestly forgot cuz I was younger so I was hyper and got carried away hanging out with the other teens there. We played black ops 1 zombies and GTA 4 I think lol. I also won like 11 or 12 bucks playing poker with there whole family. it sucks that I missed last years but I can't wait tell next years. There New Years are lit. Are New Years is going outside and banging pots and pans yelling stupid shit that relates nothing to New Years. And then eventually geting back inside when people start busting caps lol. Yeah my neighborhood is ghetto so gun shots on New Years and forth of July is the regular. but yeah it's really cool going in to house the expresses there culture and stuff really big.
