HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

You know what? Many people go abroad or even other places in their own countries with very strong personal judgements and sterotypes. This is why the videos made by them are boring to watch. But Trevor really brings these food and travelling videos to another level that is higher than others. He is so rescpectful and so willing to try any food regardless of culture, places, races and even the food quality. Some food clearly seems to be a little bit dirty (not in this video but some other), unhealthy or strange (like the raw beef paste here), but Trevor is still happy to try it out. This is such a good personality. I know I cannot do this but I am so happy to watch.

I enjoy how enthusiastic you are about foods from foreign places, I especially love how you rate the food you try. This makes me want to go to different places in the world such as China, India and other places. Thanks for making these videos, I think it's cool to learn about the different foods that are offered in the world.

I have never been more jealous than this having watched every video you have posted Trevor. The surroundings are surreal, they look so peaceful and remote. I'd say you were lucky but it's all earned. very well done.

Yum! The monastery food plus the dumplings at the end. Drool-worthy!

Trevor - really envious of the fact you got the privilege of being able to film inside the monastery and being able to eat there - so glad you respected the monks, building and the food there. I reckon the food wasn't plain as you thought because monks live their lives through monastery therefore good delicious food must play a part with positiveness and feeling good. Can't wait for your next video!

Mett is like the go-to lunch for every man in germany, almost everyone likes it raw, with onions, salt and pepper on a bun with butter. Its delicious and cheap.

Tina Joy i'm from southeastern Europe, my nation doesn't like to throw food, lots of our traditional meals are made with animal organs. One of the weird things that i really like is blood sausage. I like that Trevor likes these kind of food too, at least he really wants to experience those foods that the locals eat too. That's why he gets so much respect from people, because he shows huge respect. Good job!

I had a similar experience when I stayed in one of the eleven Monasteries on Emie Shan (Crouching Tiger) in the 1980s. The monks food was some of the best vegetarian I have ever eaten.
