Нахрена электростанции строить и тянуть ЛЭП, когда дешевле купить десяток свечей, разобрать какой-нибудь трансформатор от старой аппаратуры и вот тебе источник неиссякаемой энергии! I cannot think of single instance where you would need to fuse glass onto steel let alone a bottle. If didn't shatter during the process or even when the joint cooled it would shatter in "service" due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion. The final result looked like an adhesive bond not fusion.

I just sold a sculpture that was made with that ideal from this exact video. So you shouldn't be hating on it to hard now. Man can think with this kind of mechanical genius, There Will Be No Stopping Him. (especially if done his own brakes.) Hell you just gotta look our government to see to see that. I would be careful with the light bulb with screws idea, it's very neat and clever and interesting, I probably could have never thought of that but using it with live AC mains power could be very dangerous and that's more then likely what there using here, a more safer way to do this would be to go to a automotive or hardware store and look for item's and accessories for RV's/trailers and you should be able to find light bulbs that run on DC power instead of AC power, you could also buy them online like on amazon, and power it with some wires connected to and old 12volt car/rv/boat/lawn mower/atv battery, don't run it from a bench DC power supply either because it can be easily/accidentally adjusted, just use an old auto battery and DC light bulbs if you want to recreate this, again like some of the other things on this channel and videos that are very clever and neat and interesting but done hastily and without alot of thought and preparation especially for safety, especially when messing with AC live mains power, just be careful and think for a second and don't be in a hyperactive rush/hurry all the time.
