I recommend using wan port rather than lan port because if you have an old router it might sometimes disconnect so i recommend using the wan port rather the lan port if your using an old router thank me later. ❤

I think that's what I said as well. Connect ethernet cable to the WAN port of the old router and to the LAN port of the main router. If you connect it to the LAN port of the old router, it will not connect only most likely.

You actually don't have to use the access point mode. I have an Archer A6 router connected to the main Jio Fiber router and while setting up the A6, I chose router in the operation mode settings. When it asked for connection type, I chose dynamic IP. The router has been working in this config perfectly fine since 1 year and 10 months. Also did the same with an old Mi 3c and it worked without any issues in case of that router as well. Please try it out before spreading misinformation.

Since you'll be working in Amazon, I am guessing you'll be working with a laptop. The laptop would probably have an ethernet port. You can buy an ethernet cable amzn.to/3VPKpFc This variant is 50 feet long (about 16 metres) and costs around 300 rupees, so see if you can run this cable between those two rooms. If you need a longer cable, check from other companies that offer 30 metre, 40 metre, 50 metre or longer cables. Here's one amzn.to/4cTHt16 In the name of the cable, you'll find words like cat 5, cat 5e, cat 6. You most probably won't need cat 6, so by getting a cat 5e cable (like the first link), you'll be able to save some money. Once you have got the cable, connect one end of the cable to the router's LAN port (there will be multiple LAN ports and they will all have the same colour, maybe yellow), and connect the other end of the LAN cable to the ethernet port of your laptop.

See, do tarike hai. Jaise kuch logo ne comment kiya hai, repeater mode mein daalne se woh double NAT ka problem nahi hoga. Iss setting mein aapko second router ka alag koi network nahi milega, ek hi network extend ho jaayega same name ke saath. Lekin agar independent network chahiye doosra for more control, toh second ek network banake usmein password dal sakte hai.

I've not tried it with AP mode, but I did set up Mi 3c over LAN with my TP-Link router. Used dynamic IP as the connection type on both Archer A6 and Mi 3c. No speed drop. If you have to connect two routers and you can connect over LAN, do that instead of wireless.

Do this. First format the D-Link router. Then configure using dynamic IP. Next go to the network settings (that's what it should be called hopefully) of your D-Link router and change the router IP address from 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 (or whatever it is) to something else that you can remember like 192.168.11.1. Hopefully this will fix the issue. From what I understood, both your TP link router and D-Link router have the same IP address and that's causing a conflict. Let me know if it works.

Without Ethernet cable, the distance wouldn't necessarily be more. In fact, in most cases, it'll be less. Your router over 2.4 GHz band would have a range of about 10-15 metres and if there are walls in between, it'll be worse. On the other hand, you can buy a long ethernet cable (30-40 metres) and use that to extend the range and having walls between the routers won't matter then.

Could be that your broadband provider is blocking this sites. You could try changing the DNS to Cloudflare (your browser settings will have an option called "secure DNS" or "private DNS", enable it and change it to Cloudflare. Alternatively, consider using a decent VPN.

Your current router doesn't have a port for the fiber connection. The router the internet provider is talking about will have a port for the fiber cable. Many (and I think most) ISPs provide a compatible router for free like what Jio and Airtel do. If you are getting from some other ISP, they may be asking you to invest in something like ONT. You can connect the ONT to your existing router and it'll work like before (you may get less than advertised speed, though, depending on a number of factors).

I get what you're saying but it's not deceiving actually. Many people don't understand Hindi, by having the English text I can ensure that these people aren't completely left out. Also many people may not understand pronunciation of some words, so the English text can be useful then.
