I've never been a fan of dowels glued to the drawers, but the customer is always right! You managed to make it look very elegant and the gold on the legs was just the right amount. You always do excellent work, and think outside the box. Looking forward to your next video!

It's exceedingly elegant. The bit of gold on the legs was a perfect accent. Ignore the 'whyyyy would you do this' posts-your customer wanted a particular look, and hired you to do it. Can't blame her for wanting a sturdy piece of furniture! You didn't destroy a priceless, one of a kind antique. There are times in refinishing videos I might wince a bit, but we all have different tastes, right?

Another brilliant transformation. I know the purists will have liked to have seen it restored to its former glory but you’ve totally delivered what the client wanted. Hi Cheryl, no offence taken. I totally understand your point as this would have been lovely restored but the customer provided the "donor" drawers and she wanted this particular style. I'd have probably chosen a set that was in a bad state or made of particle board etc. 😀

That came out with some classy elegance that almost has an Oriental feel. Your attention to detail is wonderful. I almost cheered when you wrapped the drawers in newspaper to protect from spray-over.
