This looks like a fine product if you are at home, have an AC outlet close by, an extension cord, someone to help hoist the heavy cover on the vehicle, and most importantly an hours notice of the hail event. However, how am I supposed to use this if I am driving on a highway, no power outlet in sight and I have five minutes notice that hail is on the way?

Very interesting. Good review. Throwing tennis balls? I love the inflation part. I'm thinking that's necessary to really have hail protection but I was hoping for a rapid deployment/storage. That way I could use it at work when my car is parked outside. For the deployment how about store it in the back cargo area with straps that attach inside. Open the back, take out the cover and close the back hatch. Then take the front straps (attach new ones if needed) and go to the from and pull the cover to the front. To take the cover off, undo everything and pile the cover at the rear. Open the hatch and put the cover in the back cargo area. The only issue is inflation. But that cold be a rapid deployment method.

I did not see it inflate in front over your hood?

It inflates mostly on the sides and a little over the hood itself giving it a nice cushion and space to deflect objects

In this video, it was NOT CLEAR that the windshield, nor the hood, was not inflated to protect it.

Yeah right. Hail is like a tennis ball. 😮 It’ll take you at least 20 min to put that on, hail would have already done the damage. 😂
