David. I'm running out of superlatives to describe the magnificent work that you do. Those little tables were a lot of work to begin with to fix the repairs, but when you applied the oxalic acid on them, the joy of seeing that beautiful wood grain must have gladened your heart. Your customer will be delighted with the results and if the tables were mine, i would just sit and look at them, probably wouldn't get much work done. Well done again, take care and give Daisy a cuddle from us. ❤

I have plants & antique furniture. A bit of advice for your customer...because of changing temperature & resulting condensation created by watering a plant, you need to put something between the plant pot/underplate & the wood. A flat cork plate is great because it will not conduct heat or transfer cold. For example, Ikea sells one that's about 3/8 of an inch thick in the kitchen section. It's cheap & sturdy. Because I'm paranoid, I also use an extra plate under the pot underplate. I'm also careful when watering to make sure no water ends up on the wood.

You took what looked like a set of tables that didn't look like they came from the same set. I know that wood will never be the same from piece to piece and I wouldn't want it to be. Those tables were just too far off from each other in my opinion. (For all it's worth, hahaha!)
