Man I wish these could be packed this densely in the ground. Makes me think about using more pots. This looks like an above ground coral reef!

I am glad you are finally pointing out which tree you are naming. It would also be helpful for we viewers to hear some information on growth habits of the various trees. While you have such beautiful arrangements of conifers below Japanese Maples, can some of them really be planted this way? I love the effect you are showing us. Conifers are a big investment so helpful advice- like showing us am image and then saying if it prefers sun to shade etc. would be great. For us who live far away (Ontario Canada) I look for these varieties and seldom find my favourites around here! Zone restrictions would also help. Thank you for considering these suggestions. It would make your walk throughs more helpful to know if those particular varieties were something we should consider growing.

Hello. You have a beautiful garden. Thank you for sharing with all of us. I have a question. How long you can keep a maple in those big black pots. For several years, forever? Do you repot them sometimes, then how often? Do you care for them similar to bonsai care. Please share your wisdom. Thank you

i keep the trees in the pots for a long time. When they get weak I plant them in the ground. try not to fertilize them so they keep their natural color. Thanks for watching, I have listed a lot of videos of my three gardens over the years, please watch those to enjoy the evolution of the gardens.

Hello sir. I am requesting a recommendation from you. I currently have an Aureum, a Viridis, an Emperor 1, and a Zafiro dwarf blue spruce. I am trying to determine one more Japanese Maple to add to this group. I am looking for something that is orange or pink or very light red in the spring and summer, and that is relatively heat and sun tolerant and has an upright and somewhat larger mature form (15-20 ft). I live in Ogden Utah. Can you think of anything that fits this criteria? Thank you so much!!

A great tree for pink that handles the sun is Geisha Gone Wild also known as Shirazz. Most cultivar JM only get to about 10 to 14 feet tall
