Will the wipers work in manual mode with faulty/disconnected rain sensor? I ask because my rain sensor has been playing up for a long time, where it would work for months at a time but then misbehave and only work for a bit then stop. I would have to take it off automatic and then put it back on and it would work again. Last week, it just going crazy. Would work as I first start the car for a minute or so, then stop. Would only work again after leaving the car off for 10+ minutes. Then got worse, just started working immediately on turning the car on, but stop halfway, or just wiggle in place in its parking place. I could turn it on manually and if parked on middle, would go back to its correct parking and stay there. Turning it off and back on at the controls will have not effect. I disconnected the rain sensor and it is still behaving the same. Lights still work correctly with sensor installed.
