Do you know of any Gun or Shooting Hacks ?... like Removing Rust? Making Gun Oil? Removing Corrosion from Rounds, Bullets, Casings? Removing Bluing from Barrels / Slides????...... AWESOME Channel, by the way! From: AMERICA 🇺🇸

Thank you for the kind words! 😊 As for gun or shooting hacks, here are a few tried-and-true tips: Removing Rust: Use a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda to scrub lightly with a brass brush or fine steel wool. Just be cautious not to damage any finishes. Homemade Gun Oil: Mix mineral oil with a touch of lanolin. It’s cost-effective and works great for lubrication and rust prevention. Cleaning Corroded Rounds or Casings: A bath in white vinegar followed by a rinse in baking soda water neutralizes corrosion. Finish with a polish using a microfiber cloth. Removing Bluing: Vinegar again! Soak the barrel or slide (only if intentional) in white vinegar until the bluing softens, then scrub it off with steel wool. Be sure to protect it with oil afterward to prevent rust. Would you like more detailed tips on any of these? Or do you have a particular hack in mind that you’ve tried? 😊
